Digimon Code Crown
The Digimon Code Crown (デジモンコードクラウン, Dejimon Kōdo Kuraun) is a series of SD memory cards exclusively for the Digimon Xros Loader, based on the items of the same name that appear in Digimon Xros Wars. It was launched in November 2010. According to promotional material, by using the Code Crown, it's possible to interfere with different dimensions of the Digital World, allowing the General's adventures to spread out into infinity.
Features
Digimon Code Crowns expand the content available on the Digimon Xros Loader, allowing players to access additional Quest Zones and obtain Digimon that are unavailable through the device's standard quests.
Code Crowns can also store music files for playback through the Xros Loader's music player function. Bandai advertised storage for more than sixty songs, assuming a file size of approximately 4 MB per song.[1][2]
Additional content was distributed through the official Digimon Web website as downloadable "Special Quests". These were written to a Code Crown using a computer equipped with an SD card reader/writer and the Code Crown Downloader program. Installing a Special Quest overwrote the card's previous quest data. Any Guest Leaders or Guest Allies that had not already been transferred to the Xros Loader were also deleted.[3]
The official instructions warned against formatting a Code Crown, as doing so could destroy its authentication data and prevent the Xros Loader from recognizing it.[3]

Digimon Code Crown 01 ~UNDERGROUND WARRIORS~ (デジモンコードクラウン01 ～UNDERGROUND WARRIORS～) was released in Japan on November 13, 2010. It contains additional quests and Digimon for the Xros Loader. The card measures approximately 29 mm in height and 38 mm in width.[1]
SSS Discovery
Digimon Code Crown 02 SSS DISCOVERY (デジモンコードクラウン02 SSS DISCOVERY（スリーエスディスカバリー）) was released in Japan on February 26, 2011. It is the second commercial Code Crown expansion for the Xros Loader and measures approximately 29 mm in height and 38 mm in width.[2]
Code Crown Zero
Code Crown Zero is a promotional Code Crown intended for use with downloadable Special Quests.
The first Special Quest, Another Sky Destruction, was released on April 1, 2011. An expanded version featuring additional Digimon, Another Sky Destruction (Expansion), was released on June 21, 2011.
Downloaded quest data could be written to a Code Crown through the Code Crown Downloader program, replacing the content previously stored on the card.[3]
