Digimon Xros Wars: The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms

Dark Volumon was one of Olegmon's subordinates in Gold Zone, but opened a portal and ended up in the Green Zone. Shoutmon saw him and pursued him. It is assumed that Dark Volumon used too much power and passed out because he did not become active again until Shoutmon fixed him up and he became Ballistamon up until they got to Gold Land and Olegmon made him revert to his original form. Shoutmon DigiXrossed with Dark Volumon into Shoutmon X2 and he became Ballistamon again permanently.
