Profile

I see the Digimon Xros Wars Digimon Latest Big Picture 2 image has a profile for Dark Volumon. I tried putting it through image translation and it seems to be in-anime but it's still better than nothing (and other Digimon, say the Trailmon variants, also have only in-anime profiles anyways) and this seems to be the only Digimon to get one (as far as I've checked, anyways). I'm not sure if we want to include profiles from dubbed/localized material. Currently we don't... with the exception, I guess, of the Chinese profiles for Digimon that debuted in Chinese games. Maybe we should have a separate section for dub profiles? --TMS (talk) 16:27, 23 August 2022 (EST)

I feel like this would fall under the same category of exception as the New Century Digimon since no Japanese or even English profile currently exists. there's also the dub profiles of citramon and sistermon ciel, but those are also digimon created in non japanese media. so i guess thats the thing. just wanted to point out it wasnt only chinese.Muur (talk) 19:57, 23 August 2022 (CDT)

With nothing else to go with, it's probably worth making an exception here. Digimon Xros Wars Digimon Latest Big Picture is already used as a reference for information in several Xros Wars-related articles, including this one (for Level and Type, in this case), so I don't think it's much more to add a profile, plus it'll have where it comes from anyways. I don't disagree we should prioritize the original version in all possible cases but here we have nothing else and the profile, from what I could get from the machine translation, is consistent with the anime and has nothing out of place. --Blaze Dragon (talk) 22:14, 23 August 2022 (GMT -3)

I totally agree with you Blaze Dragon, if we can make the exceptions with New Century and so on, why not here as well, especially with Digimon that normally are not in the spotlight like Dark Volumon.
