A mutant Machine Digimon shaped like a gear. There are countless gears built into its body, and the gears are constantly rotating. For that reason, if even a single gear is missing, all of the gears in its body stop rotating, and it becomes unable to maintain its vital functions. Hagurumon possesses the special ability to send a computer virus to its opponents in order to manipulate them at will, and that ability is exploited by fiendish Digimon. However, because Hagurumon itself doesn't have any sense of self, it doesn't even know it is being misused. Its Special Move is burying a black gear with a built-in computer virus within the body of the opponent, driving them mad (Darkness Gear).

Digimon Adventure tri.[edit]

A Hagurumon is listed on Himekawa Maki's computer as one of the Digimon that was reborn as a result of the reboot.

Digimon Adventure:[edit]

In "Lilimon Blooms", Izumi Koshiro, Yagami Taichi and Tachikawa Mimi found themselves in an ancient weapon factory. As Koshiro saw through his computer, said weapons factory mass-produced Hagurumon and Guardromon in the past. Mimi and Palmon then found a pile of junk with parts of Hagurumon and Guardromon.

After Taichi and Koshiro went into the factory, a Soundbirdmon awoke and controlled several broken Hagurumon to stop them. Agumon evolved into Greymon to fight against them and allow Koshiro and Tentomon to continue forward.

After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", two Hagurumon rotated around Andromon's body, with Guardromon's close, both still covered in moss.

Digimon Ghost Game[edit]

In "The Land of Children", a Hagurumon is seen in the Never-Ever Land of Petermon. It later evolves to Guardromon.

Digimon Beatbreak[edit]

An Elecmon, a Gazimon and a Hagurumon were amongst the Digimon that appeared during the Kano Island incident 21 years ago and which were deleted by Sunarizamon's Sand Blast in "The Power to Take".

Live Action[edit]

Digimon Project 2021[edit]

In "Next Chapter: DIGIVICE-V-", a swarm of Hagurumon appeared after a WARNING sign. They then spun in a tornado, before being blown away by a Digimon that appeared at the center of it: the Raid Boss, Mugendramon. The Hagurumon then joined the Raid Boss battle.

Digimon Seekers[edit]

Several Hagurumon are used by the SoC. Marvin Jackson commanded them to attack the Digipolice in both "Chapter 3 Unit 11:Digital Missing In Action" and "Chapter 4 Sons of Chaos: Seekers".

Manga[edit]

Digimon Next[edit]

A Tamer-owned Hagurumon appears as part of the audience of the Battle Stage in "Black-Winged Knight".

In "Pitchmon's Secret!", several Hagurumon pretending to be Tailmon served under Nanomon (himself pretending to be Angewomon) and operated the hot springs that were actually a trap for Tatsuno Tsurugi, Inui Yuu, Kitajima Ami and their Digimon. They tried to feed computer bugs to everyone, but ultimately were stripped of their will to fight by Ami's Marin Angemon. They joined the heroes against N.E.O, alongside the rest of the ex-Commandments, in "Battle for the Future!".

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth[edit]

Hagurumon is one of Aiba Takumi's Digimon, alongside Terriermon and Palmon. Takumi first released them in Coulomb in order to break down a level 1 firewall, which they managed to do, only to be dragged into a portal that appeared from behind it, which shifted them to another space, the Demons' secret base.

After Takumi entered the terminal of the secret base, his three Digimon defeated a Growmon that had pinned him down earlier. When he reappeared from the terminal, he had his Digimon evolve into Guardromon, Galgomon and Togemon.

Digimon Seekers ~Witch of the Crossroads~[edit]

In Episode 1, after Xu Yulin's Kokuwamon was deleted while following a possible lead for the black Agumon, Yulin took out a bunch of Digimon Docks from her desktop which held Digimon like Candmon, Hagurumon, Palmon and Floramon and connected them to send all of said Digimon to investigate, only for all of them to be taken down as well.

Later on, in a village, Yulin and Ryudamon found a broken Kokuwamon and Hagurumon. Yulin pointed out that the Digimon there seemed all wounded, especially the Machine and Cyborg Types, which were used quite often by humans, which she doubted was just a coincidence. Ryudamon explained they were overworked by said humans, damaged, then thrown away like trash when they were no longer useful. This angered Yulin but Ryudamon said it was too large a problem to be resolved by a single individual which she accepted.

A Hagurumon was one of Waru Monzaemon's hostages in Episode 2. It was part of three groups seen in the chapter: the ones Yulin and Ryudamon saw at first, the ones that escaped thanks to Ryudamon's Iaijin, and the ones that thanked the Crossroad Witch after being freed.

Once the Player makes its way up the final story of the Toy Mansion, the Player will face Waru Monzaemon, engaging a battle, and once its defeated, it'll release Hagurumon, where the Player picks it and brings it back to the Blikmon, giving back the life to Toy Town, and a lifeless Monzaemon suit will join the Village of Beginnings, upgrading Jijimon's house and residing in a coat hanger.

Since Hagurumon is treated as an item in the game, the Player needs to be careful when engaging a battle, in case the Player loses a Battle, and as consequent the items, where Hagurumon may be one of them. Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Hagurumon serve as gears that make Central Tower function. However, when Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Misono Inori and Aegiomon tried to climb it in "Gathering Storm Clouds", they found out that the Hagurumon were attacked by the Titans and forced out of their places. As such, one of them told the Agent they must help them, or else they wouldn't be able to travel through the tower. To do so, the Agent would carry the Hagurumon into giant gears they lock into.

After defeating Parrotmon, a Hagurumon in Central Town will ask Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan to go and check on their coworker who hadn't come back, as they couldn't do it themselves due to their "no overtime" policy. This is the sidequest "A Delayed Return". The Agent eventually finds the Hagurumon asleep outside of Central Tower alongside their Solarmon subordinate. After waking them up, the coworker Hagurumon returns to Central Town and the requester Hagurumon gives the Agent their rewards.

Hagurumon is also an obtainable Digimon. It can be scanned in the Factorial Area. It evolves from Caprimon, and can evolve into Clockmon, Mechanorimon, Tankmon, Guardromon, or Blimpmon.
