Rosemon is the Partner Digimon of Tachikawa Mimi. In the past, she had this stage during the war between light and darkness.
In the present, Lilimon first evolved into Rosemon during her fight with Bancho Mamemon in "The Digimon School Under Attack", thanks to the teachings of Babamon's Digimon school, easily breaking free from his chains when she evolved. In anger, Bancho Mamemon created a giant fire baseball while pointing out that it didn't matter if she became an Ultimate Digimon. He then attacked her with fireballs from the giant fire baseball as well as flamethrowers from his bats, only for both to be easily stopped by Rosemon. However, they were a feint, distracting her from the giant fire baseball splitting in half and then converging on her. This proved to be ineffective as well, with Rosemon breaking free from it, destroying Bancho Mamemon's bats, and knocking him down, aiming at him with her rapier afterwards. Bancho Mamemon asked why he lost, with Mimi and Rosemon returning his words from earlier, about how becoming an Ultimate Digimon did not matter, and how he was now starting to understand what Babamon wanted him to notice. He was then hit with Rosemon's Forbidden Temptation and admitted his defeat.

In the postgame, after Deserted Island's Battle Arena is cleared, Beginner City's Babamon will retake her true form as Rosemon. The Player originally mistakes her as the Rosemon he knew and is shocked at seeing her back, but Rosemon explains that she's Babamon and that she had lost her matrix, but it suddenly appeared again. After that, Rosemon asks the player to defeat a group of troublemakers that appeared in Dark City. She also serves as the second opponent of Beginner City's second Battle Arena and the first opponent of the third, where she uses the Rose Garden deck, a Red/Flame, Green/Nature and Black/Darkness deck with 3 attack, 3 defense and 4 evolution speed that's full of plants.
After beating Dark City's Haunted Arena, Rosemon will thank the player for doing it without explaining what happened, ignoring the player's questions. Afterwards, she can be fought in Beginner City's Battle Cafe. After the first battle, she'll give the player an S-Option pack as well as the Rosemon's Seduction card. Defeating her ten times without leaving the Battle Cafe will reward the player the Downloader card. During any fight other than the first and the one that gives you Downloader, there's a chance to obtain an S-Option pack as well.

Rosemon is Tachikawa Mimi's Partner Digimon.
After the Chosen Children returned to Subspace from the sea of data in Episode 62, "The Final Dark Digimon", they were taken by a strange light into a new area with six coloured doors, and a seventh door between them with a chain of each colour. Behind the yellow door, the Chosen Children found Metal Etemon. Tachikawa Mimi asked Yagami Taichi to leave it to her and Palmon, as she didn't want anyone else to get hurt. Palmon felt Mimi's Purity flowing through her body, which allowed her to warp evolve into Rosemon for the first time.
Afterwards, she can evolve in-battle by paying 30 SP from Palmon, 25 SP from Togemon, or 15 SP from Lilimon, or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost III DigiPiece. Rosemon's attacks are:
- Thorn Whip: deals damage to one enemy with a high chance of Shock. Costs 26 SP.
- Roses Rapier: deals damage to one enemy. Costs 9 SP.
- Forbidden Temptation: lowers attack and defense and deals severe status effects to all enemies. Costs 20 SP.

A Rosemon in the Colosseum challenges Taiga to a fight in the 10th floor after he defeated Professor Petrov and his Metal Greymon. This is the Free Battle: "Requesting a Match". After losing, Rosemon tells Taiga to talk to her in the Colosseum. There, she tells Taiga she's a training master, who was determined to protect the Village of Beginnings but decided to leave that to Taiga, and instead she'd use her know-how to enable Advanced Training in the Digitower.
A Rosemon and a Marin Angemon are fought in the Colosseum 30th floor Free Battle: "Beautiful Sisters", alongside their Tamers, CoCo and Mikka. This awards Taiga a Lord Knightmon and a Queen Chessmon card.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
Rosemon is the evolved form of the same Palmon who accompanied the party in the Gear Forest 8 years ago and the leader of the Palmon Ride Company, established at some point during the timeskip. Every time Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan uses their services (by having a Palmon take them past a chasm in Gear Forest) Rosemon contacts them to thank them for their patronage and charge them 100 YEN.
After the Agent, Misono Inori and Aegiomon left to get a red fruit for Bacchusmon in the Akashic Records in "The Final Battle over the Natural Order", they found gaps in the path they couldn't cross. Rosemon and the Palmons of the Palmon Ride Company then showed up. They offered the Agent their services for free. She later joined them in their fight against Lilithmon, alongside Lotusmon and Griffomon, once again for free. During the fight, Rosemon can use Thorn Strike III, Shine Burst III, and Thorn Whip. After the fight, Rosemon complained about the help since she wasn't the same weakling as eight years ago, but Lotusmon and Griffomon assured her they were aware of how strong she had become. Rosemon then thanked the Agent for their help while Griffomon confirmed Inori and Aegiomon had brought Bacchusmon the purple fruit.
Rosemon is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Lilamon, Lilimon, Jyureimon, or Pumpmon. It can evolve into Rosemon: Burst Mode.
