Dokamon is the Buddy Appmon of Karan Eri in Digimon Universe Appli Monsters.

Profile[edit]
Dokamon is combative and determined, traits typical of an Appmon originating from an action video game. He deeply admires Eri and would do anything for her. He considers Gatchmon his aniki (a mentor-like figure). Dokamon also has a habit of ending his sentences with "(de)wasu" ((で)わす).

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters[edit]
In March 2016, Eri found Dokamon's Chip along with an Appli Drive. However, she chose to keep the Chip hidden while pursuing her dream of becoming an idol. Dokamon, meanwhile, quickly grew attached to her.
On November 3, Haru and Gatchmon met Eri and Dokamon for the first time. Eri was reluctant to become involved in the battles against Appmon infected with the L-Virus, and while Gatchmon fought Dressmon, Dokamon was forced to remain on the sidelines. Dokamon repeatedly begged Eri to materialize him and eventually succeeded in persuading her. Dokamon and Gatchmon then teamed up to defeat Dressmon. When Gomimon became infected, Dokamon fused with Perorimon to become Dosukomon, and together they defeated and purified him. Torajirou (Astra) and Musimon later joined the group.
In December, Dokamon participates in the Appmon Ranking Championship in the Cyber Arena. During the final event, he teams up with Navimon.
On January 14, Eri and Torajirou battle Tellermon, who has been infected by the virus. Torajirou asks Eri to lend him Dosukomon's Chip so that Mediamon can perform an Applink with it, allowing him to defeat and purify Tellermon. A few days later, Eri, Dokamon, and the others accompany Haru to his grandfather Den'emon's former laboratory, where they meet Timemon. Timemon reveals the history of Leviathan and Minerva, the AI responsible for the creation of the Appli Drives.

In the manga, Eri and Dokamon encounter Haru and Gatchmon in Weathermon's AR Field. Dokamon evolves into Dosukomon and fights alongside DoGatchmon against Scorpmon and Mailmon.

After Kazuki/Itsuki and Karan Eri learned about the other being an Appli Driver, Dokamon, Eri's Buddy Appmon, asked her to introduce him too. Eri refused to Appliarise him though he insisted as things got too chaotic with him around.
When Ryouji and the Mihama Gang challenged Kazuki/Itsuki for a battle with the role of Eri's manager/bodyguard on the line, Dokamon showed up, joined the battle and defeated them, leaving only Kazuki/Itsuki behind. While Kazuki/Itsuki was fine with him, or anyone else, taking the role, Dokamon didn't listen and wanted to fight, confirming what Eri had said earlier about him. Eri herself joined them soon after as it would be unfair if Dokamon fought alone, which Kazuki/Itsuki pointed out was really weird. For the fight, Eri opens with Dokamon + Perorimon, which AppGattai into Dosukomon. After the fight, Dokamon acknowledged Kazuki/Itsuki but promised to take the role someday though Kazuki/Itsuki still didn't want it.
Eri is the final opponent of the Dosuko Cup Tournament. As before, as her first Appmon, she AppGattais Dokamon and Perorimon into Dosukomon.
