In "Aim for the 9 GODs! Appliyama 470 Elections!", Karan Eri campaigns to improve her position and join the 9 GODs. She asks Asuka Torajirou to collaborate on an AppTube video to promote her candidacy.
During the provisional results, Eri unexpectedly rises to first place, surpassing Kagurazaka Izumi. However, Gatchmon discovers that Calcumon, acting out of admiration for Eri, has manipulated the vote totals. Eri refuses to accept a victory obtained through cheating and asks Calcumon to restore the original figures. When he refuses, Offmon reverses his alterations and Dokamon defeats him, allowing the election to proceed without his interference.
The final results are announced in "Election Results! The Hands of Evil Aproach Eri!". Izumi takes first place, while Eri finishes tenth, narrowly missing admission to the 9 GODs. Despite her initial disappointment, Eri recognizes the support she has received and how many people she has made smile. Her placement represents a considerable improvement over her previous rank of 250th. After her acceptance speech, her mother calls to congratulate her, having watched the announcement with her colleagues.
Following the ceremony, L-Corp's CEO, Unryuji Knight, invites Eri to a party aboard his yacht. Believing that the other members will also attend, she accepts, but discovers that she is his only guest. Knight reveals his allegiance to Leviathan and attempts to recruit her to help locate Bootmon. Eri rejects his offer, refusing to advance her idol career by assisting Leviathan.
