Navimon is infected with the L-Virus and begins confusing navigation app users by directing them to incorrect destinations. Haru and Gatchmon defeat him, purifying him and obtaining his Chip. Immediately afterward, Cameramon attacks them, and while attempting to perform an Applink, Gatchmon and Navimon fuse into DoGatchmon.
Gatchmon and Navimon attempt to fuse again during the battle against Ropuremon, but discord between the two results in the formation of the useless Sukasimon instead. The AppGattai succeeds once more during the battle against Scorpmon. Navimon and Gatchmon later argue over which of them serves as the basis for DoGatchmon. To determine which is stronger, they decide to hold the Appmon Ranking Championship in the Cyber Arena. During the final event, Navimon teams up with DoGatchmon.
In February, Haru and the others chase Mienumon through the Net Ocean. Haru summons Navimon, who attacks Mienumon with one of his arrows.
