Gatchmon is the Buddy Appmon of Shinkai Haru in Digimon Universe Appli Monsters.

Profile[edit]
Gatchmon is Shinkai Haru's buddy Appmon, and the two get along well for the most part. Gatchmon is very proud of his search ability, and uses it to look up things around him. Before meeting Haru, he lived only inside the internet and never saw anything from the real world, so he was very excited to look around and try out new things. Throughout the series, it is shown that he enjoys attention, especially from Haru, and even goes as far as to run away from home when Offmon is being doted on.[1] Gatchmon's constant fighting with his first app fusion partner, Navimon, led to a failed fusion into Sukasimon.[2] This only happened once and afterwards they were able to evolve properly. Gatchmon's favorite treat is the Gatch Monaka candy bar.
