The Appli Drive DUO (アプリドライヴデュオ, Apuri Doraivu Deyuo; Dub: App Drive DUO) is an upgraded version of the Appli Drive used by the Appli Drivers in Digimon Universe Appli Monsters. Created by Minerva, it retains all of the functions of the original Appli Drive while introducing several enhancements. Like the original model, it is delivered to chosen humans by Minerva, although it can also be obtained through the transformation of an existing Appli Drive.
Functions[edit]

- Increase the power of an Appmon Appliarised with it by 50%.
- Ultimate Appliarise an Ultimate-grade Appmon with no time limit.
- Turn the Appli Driver's life energy into power for their Buddy Appmon through Overdrive.
- After the God Grade was unlocked, God Appliarise a God-grade Appmon.
- Create giant Appmon Chips of light that can be ridden by their Appli Drivers.

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters[edit]
The Appli Drive DUO possesses all of the capabilities of the original Appli Drive, including Appliarise, Applink, App Gattai, access to the AR-Field, and the creation of Appmon Chips. Its most notable enhancement is the Insertion function, which increases an Appmon's base power by 50% whenever it is Appliarised. Unlike the standard Appli Drive, it can also maintain Ultimate-grade Appmon indefinitely, removing the usual 60-second time limit.
The device also introduces Overdrive, a function that transfers a portion of the Appli Driver's energy to their Buddy Appmon, significantly increasing the power of its attacks at the cost of draining the Appli Drive's energy reserves.
Oozora Yuujin was the first Appli Driver to obtain an Appli Drive DUO, receiving it directly rather than upgrading from the original model. Later, after the Appli Drives of Shinkai Haru, Karan Eri, Asuka Torajirou, and Katsura Rei were destroyed by the Ultimate 4, Minerva granted them Appli Drive DUOs after they successfully completed a trial she had prepared for them.

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters[edit]
Oozora Yuujin obtained his Appli Drive DUO a bit before "The Devil's Hand!!".
The heroic Appli Drivers' Appli Drives, alongside Yuujin's Appli Drive DUO, were surrendered to Unryuji Knight, Fakemon and Beautymon in "Cage!!" in exchange for Katsura Hajime's data, though they did not uphold their end of the deal. Instead, Timemon replaced them with dummies, and the real ones were given to Shinkai Denemon, who evolved them using Minerva's data into Appli Drive DUOs, given to Shinkai Haru and Katsura Rei in "Cage!!", then to Karan Eri and Asuka Torajirou in "Overdrive!!".
