The Appmon Seven Code Bands are first obtained in "Colossal Cometmon Strike!? Open the Door, Dantemon!". After the Seven Code Appmon have been gathered and Dantemon has opened the gateway to the Deep Web, Leviathan begins petrifying him. Unable to accompany the Appli Drivers, Dantemon uses his remaining power to upgrade the Appmon Bands worn by Shinkai Haru, Karan Eri, Asuka Torajirou and Katsura Rei.

The upgraded devices allow the group to proceed into the Deep Web, where they begin their exploration in the following episode. Their guidance function enables the Appli Drivers to continue their mission without Dantemon accompanying them.

Ozora Yujin also receives an Appmon Seven Code Band when he becomes an Appli Driver and pairs with Offmon.
