Sakusimon is a Leviathan agent who works alongside Mienumon. He never enters a battle without first devising a strategy. When the Appli Drivers and their Appmon enter the Net Ocean, Sakusimon attacks them and, after easily neutralizing the Appmon with traps, demands that the children hand over their Appli Drives. However, Katsura Rei and Raidramon come to their rescue, forcing Sakusimon to retreat. Sakusimon returns shortly afterward and appears to be gaining the upper hand against Rei and Raidramon, until DoGatchmon intervenes and manages to defeat him thanks to an Applink with Raidramon.
Mienumon later uses Sakusimon's Chip to evolve into Warudamon, but Globemon, Oujamon, Entermon, and Revivemon defeat her with a combined attack. Sakusimon's data is not lost, however, as it is recovered by Biomon, who revives him along with Mienumon, Scorpmon, and Sukasimon. The four are then ordered to attack the Appli Drivers, but they stand no chance against the Ultimate-grade Appmon, which have also been strengthened by the Appli Drive DUO. After a brief battle, Sakusimon and the others are launched into orbit.
