L-Code (Ｌコード, L-Kōdo) is a code associated with Leviathan that greatly increases the power of an Appmon. Appmon empowered by it can overwhelm opponents of the same Grade and commonly declare that "the L is overflowing!"

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters[edit]
In "Attack! Ultimate Appmon, the Ultimate 4!", Unryuji Knight, acting as Cloud, transmits the L-Code to the Ultimate 4 during their battle against the Appli Drivers. Charismon, Beautymon, Fakemon and Biomon receive the enhancement while fighting Globemon, Oujamon, Entermon and Revivemon, respectively. The resulting increase in power turns the battle in their favor, allowing them to defeat their opponents and destroy the Appli Drivers' Appli Drives. With the devices destroyed, the connection to their Buddy Appmon is lost and the Appmon disappear.
The L-Code is used again during the rematches in "The Ultimate 4 Again! Cloud's Challenge!". Biomon receives it while fighting Revivemon, reversing the latter's initial advantage.
In "Ultimate Fierce Fighting! Globemon VS Charismon!", Charismon is strengthened by the L-Code during the battle at Charisma Castle. His enhanced power allows him to defeat the four Appli Drivers' Ultimate-grade Appmon. However, Shinkai Haru uses Overdrive to transfer his life energy to Globemon, enabling him to overcome Charismon's increased strength and defeat him.

In "Overdrive!!", Unryuji Knight combines Fakemon and Beautymon through Applink and further increases their power with the L-Code. The combination overwhelms the Appli Drivers' Ultimate-grade Appmon, prompting the Drivers to use Overdrive and transfer their own life energy to their partners. With this additional power, their Appmon repel Fakemon and Beautymon's attacks, defeat them, and recover Katsura Hajime's data.
