Perorimon's reviews are very popular and well-regarded, so Karan Eri asks him to help her improve her own. Perorimon has only fed on data up to this point and longs to finally eat real takoyaki, so he agrees on the condition that she materialize him. However, Eri's takoyaki turns out to be terrible, causing Perorimon to storm off.
Meanwhile, Gomimon begins stealing app data, including Perorimon's Gourmet app. Dokamon and Perorimon merge to become Dosukomon and defeat Gomimon. Perorimon later participates in the Appmon Ranking Championship in the Cyber Arena. During the race, he trips and knocks over all the competitors, and during the final event, he teams up with Musimon.
A Perorimon is among Cookmon's customers.
Marilyn Perorimon, known as "Maripero", is a female Perorimon with pink skin, brown hair, a red dress, and a bow on her head. She runs a Gourmet review app specializing in large portions, but it does not receive many downloads. To improve her reviews, she asks Eri to coach her. However, Eri is busy recording a television show, so Dokamon takes her place. Thanks to Dokamon's guidance, Maripero finally manages to write a well-received review, saving both her app and her favorite restaurant from closure.

Perorimon is similar to his counterpart in the anime. He is one of the Appmon partnered with Karan Eri and helps her with her food reviews. However, his role is much smaller, as he only appears in a single panel in "Determination Install!!" when he undergoes AppGattai with Dokamon to form Dosukomon.
