The Kashiki family has run the Kashinoki Bookstore for three generations. Christmas is a very special occasion for Mr. Kashiki, who enjoys wrapping books as gifts for children.
Mr. Kashiki is unaware of the existence of Appmon, as well as the fact that his daughter has made an unused room in the bookstore's basement available to her fellow Appli Drivers.
When Leviathan materializes in the Real World and launches the program to transform humanity into applications, Mr. Kashiki is in the bookstore with his daughter. Both are converted into data and sent to the Dark Web. Following Leviathan's defeat, Mr. Kashiki and all other affected humans return to normal.
