Kazuki is the protagonist of Digimon Universe Appli Monsters (3DS). If not chosen as the playable character, he'll instead become a rival to the player in the postgame.
Profile[edit]
Kazuki is a teenage boy with fair skin, short red hair, and blue eyes. He wears green goggles with hexagonal lenses, a black sweater with vertical white lines under a blue and yellow T-shirt with an orange stripe in the chest, and a white one under it, and a yellow Appmon Band on his left wrist. He also wears blue jeans, black socks, and white and red sneakers with black soles.

Protagonist[edit]
Kazuki is the main character of the game.
Overall, there are very few differences in the game depending on whether the player chooses Kazuki or Itsuki. In the original Japanese script, Kazuki uses more casual and masculine speech patterns (such as "ore"), whereas Itsuki speaks in a more neutral or polite manner (such as "watashi"). Additionally, Itsuki is slightly more likely to refer to Naoto by name, while Kazuki more often refers to him simply as "he".
Rival[edit]
If the player chooses Itsuki at the beginning, Kazuki will appear later with another Onmon as his Buddy Appmon. The two fight each other in some of the post-game High-End GPs.
For the High-End GP (S-Rank), Kazuki opens with Onmon + Gatchmon, which AppGattai into Logimon. He also uses Entermon + Tripmon, Globemon + Weatherdramon, Dezipmon + Weatherdramon. Unlike other opponents, he'll switch his Appmon if at a type disadvantage, and choose his next Appmon based on type advantage. He also uses Consulmon for Appli Skills.
After the battle between both playable characters in the A-Rank, both acknowledged each other's strength. Itsuki was surprised that Kazuki's Buddy Appmon was Onmon, and Kazuki explained that he loved games and Onmon was eager to connect him with all of them, and that's how they ended up in the Cyber Arena. Onmon proclaimed he'd connect Kazuki to a lot of battles. Itsuki could see how similar they were. Kazuki thought they could become great friends but was feeling down because of his defeat. Nonetheless, he resolved to catch up soon and Itsuki wanted them to reach for the top together.
For the final battle of the High-End GP (EX2), Kazuki promises to not give up until he wins once he's logged in. He also confirms that his Onmon has become Logimon. He opens the fight with Logimon + Logimon. He then repeatedly uses Globemon + Sateramon. He also uses Craftmon, Dezipmon, Beautymon, Oujamon, and Entermon for Appli Skills.
After the fight, both acknowledged how much the other improved since their last battle. While Kazuki acknowledged his defeat, that only got him more fired up, and he found even losing fun because figuring out how to win next time would make him stronger. Kazuki realized Itsuki got stronger the same way, one step at a time, which Itsuki acknowledged and said she'd keep doing. Kazuki promised he'd try again and win next time and Itsuki looked forward to it. Kazuki then left running.
Kazuki fights Itsuki again as the final battle of the High-End GP (EX4). Before the battle, he confirms his Logimon has become Bootmon. He opens the fight with Bootmon + Sateramon. He then repeatedly uses Globemon + Sateramon. He also uses Beautymon and Entermon for Appli Skills.
After the fight, Kazuki confessed he didn't expect to fight Itsuki again so soon since he wanted their battle to be in the High-End GP (Final). Itsuki thought that meant he was also aiming to become the Champion but he just wanted to have fun by becoming stronger, and he got even more motivated by battling fun opponents. Kazuki then asked Itsuki to fight him again in the High-End GP (Final) and left running.
