Profile[edit]
Kayo lives in Yongendōri, in front of a mountain, and is friends with Kagefumi. She is a C-Rank Master in the Cyber Arena. She has a crush on Ouji and is extremely loyal to him, even being willing to do dangerous or morally dubious things for him. She has no sense of direction. In terms of personality, she's very harsh and unfriendly, while also being too awkward to say nice things to people that aren't Ouji. That said, she still greatly cares for Kagefumi and Copipemon.

Yikes, hope the server won't crash...[N 1] Cyber Arena's C-Rank Master! Her Buddy Appmon's Copipemon. A perfectly imperfect duo. She likes copy-pasting messages, then rereading them over, and over again."

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters[edit]
After Kazuki/Itsuki cleared the High-End GP (E-Rank) Tournament, Ouji and Kayo showed up. Ouji was curious about Onmon, a type of Appmon he had never seen before, so Kazuki/Itsuki introduced him before asking who Ouji was, which angered Kayo who introduced him as "Ouji-sama" (オウジ様, a phonetic equivalent to 王子様, "prince") which made Kazuki/Itsuki believe she implied he was royalty rather than naming him. Ouji corrected the misconception but Kayo was still aggressive, questioning if Kazuki/Itsuki wasn't an Appli Driver but a fraud. MCmon defended them as they were still a beginner then explained Ouji was the Champion of the Cyber Arena, then Kayo added he also was the heir to Teito Security and a genius high school programmer in charge of Hifumigaoka's security system. Ouji told her to knock it off, however, as in the Cyber Arena he was just a regular Appli Driver. Onmon challenged Ouji to a fight but he refused, instead Appliarising his Buddy Appmon, Oujamon, as proof of how Kazuki/Itsuki wasn't ready to face him yet. He then despawned Oujamon and left, though not before stating he looked forward to Kazuki/Itsuki's growth. Kayo left with him. Despite not getting a fight, Kazuki/Itsuki was deeply moved by their encounter with Ouji, which left them shivering with excitement.
Ouji and Kayo met up with Kazuki/Itsuki once more after the latter beat the High-End GP (D-Rank) tournament. Kazuki/Itsuki didn't remember Kayo, which angered her. Ouji congratulated Kazuki/Itsuki for ranking up and found it interesting that they solved the Protecmon incident at school. With Logimon Appliarised, he also remarked Onmon had undergone an AppGattai. Ouji felt that many more Appmon would help Kazuki/Itsuki in the future just like Onmon and Gatchmon did. Kazuki/Itsuki hoped he was right as meeting new Appmon and Rankers was fun though they were embarassed to hear it from the Champion himself. Ouji thought that one day they may fight each other although Kayo believed it was impossible Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon could measure up to Ouji and Oujamon, which Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon took badly. The duo then left, but the conversation became a reminder for Kazuki/Itsuki that there were still many strong Appli Drivers they had to beat, like Naoto and Ouji.
After clearing the High-End GP (C-Rank) Tournament, MCmon intended to tell Kazuki/Itsuki where the C-Rank Master was, but couldn't find her. Through sheer coincidence, while looking for Mio, Kazuki/Itsuki found Kayo instead in one of the school's AR Dungeons. Kayo had gotten lost there, despite not being a particularly complex layout, and pleaded for Ouji to save her, though she refused to acknowledge this to Kazuki/Itsuki. Regardless, she admitted she had no sense of direction. Kayo ordered Kazuki/Itsuki to get her to the exit, with her high-and-mighty attitude despite her situation surprising both Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon. After they found the exit, Kayo stated she was done with confusing AR Dungeons no matter how much Ouji asked, then refused to explain what Ouji asked her to do and left without thanking Kazuki/Itsuki.
As the C-Rank Master, Kayo then challenged Kazuki/Itsuki in the Cyber Arena. Kazuki/Itsuki was surprised she was her C-Rank Master though Yukari thought they already knew. Kazuki/Itsuki exclaimed they thought that nothing was disclosed about the Rank Masters until the challengers got their vouchers but Yukari denied this and explained the B-Rank Master was Kagefumi. However, before she could state the A-Rank Master's name, Makoto stopped her, arguing it was more fun for Kazuki/Itsuki to find out themself. Kazuki/Itsuki was still surprised about Kayo since they thought she was just Ouji's fan, which annoyed Kayo as she was his greatest supporter and a skilled Appli Driver. While they were ready to fight, they were interrupted by Ouji's arrival. Ouji praised Kazuki/Itsuki, which got Kayo to seek his approval as well. However, the only thing she got from Ouji was him asking her about the matter he had her take care of. Kayo explained she had found traces in the AR Dungeon and had Copipemon copy them. She then sent the data to Ouji. Kazuki/Itsuki wondered if that was the same AR Dungeon they had found her lost in. Kayo refused to answer but Kazuki/Itsuki kept pressing her so Ouji instead explained he was interested in the Virusmon incidents happening everywhere. He added that Virusmon was an Appmon that possessed virus abilities that appeared in the Net Ocean at some point and began infecting other Appmon with viruses. Ouji reminded Kazuki/Itsuki that one such incident happened at their school with Protecmon getting infected, hence why he sent Kayo there to search for Virusmon traces. He then asked Kazuki/Itsuki to check on an infected Appmon in Mihamakou as he couldn't do it himself. Kayo took the job herself, even rejecting the Ranker battle to do so. MCmon tried to stop her but Kayo shut him down. Instead of the Ranker battle, Kayo challenged Kazuki/Itsuki to see who stopped the virus incident in Mihamakou first, if they won, Kayo would battle them right away, but if they lost, they'd be demoted to F-Rank. Ouji didn't mind the contest but told Kayo to make sure to handle the task he gave her by herself, which Kayo confirmed she'd do. She then left.
Despite leaving after her, Kazuki/Itsuki reached Mihamahou first as Kayo "took a detour" to get there. Logimon advised her to use Navimon for navigation but Kayo admitted she got lost even with Navimon. She then proclaimed they could go sightseeing as she'd resolve the incident and left. Kayo then went to a suspicious red-brick clothing store, arriving there before Kazuki/Itsuki did. However, the infected Appmon wasn't there, so it had to be on one of the other two stores. As she had nothing else to do there, she left. However, Kazuki/Itsuki suspected she had been wrong as the coord app at the store was failing and there was an AR Dungeon there, which Kayo may not have searched due to her poor sense of direction. This caused her to miss Coordemon, who Kazuki/Itsuki defeated and purified, with Kayo only showing up afterwards, angry at Kazuki/Itsuki for "sneaking ahead", which Kazuki/Itsuki pointed out was not true. Kayo was unwilling to listen to them though and ordered them to leave, which they agreed to do but not before telling her not to get lost again. Kayo was sure she wouldn't get lost on her way to Ouji though as they were bound by the thread of fate. Kazuki/Itsuki then asked her not to forget about their Ranker battle either. This finishes the quest "Virus Incident in Mihamakou". After Kazuki/Itsuki left, Kayo sent out Copipemon to copy Virusmon's traces then left herself to get to Ouji.
Kayo arrived at the Cyber Arena first by running, so she was left winded but could get the data to Ouji, who praised Kazuki/Itsuki for resolving the Mihamakou incident. Kayo tried to get Ouji's attention on that topic but he merely pointed out that it was Kazuki/Itsuki who did it, and therefore was also the winner of their challenge. Despite that, Kayo still refused to battle Kazuki/Itsuki, angry at them being the only one recognized by Ouji, an attitude that once again annoyed MCmon. Kayo didn't care however and left the Cyber Arena to go home, a situation that, according to MCmon, had never happened before in its history. Kazuki/Itsuki asked Ouji where Kayo's house was and he replied it was on Yongendōri at the foot of a mountain. Ouji then told them Virusmon was also around that same area so they should be careful.
When Kazuki/Itsuki got to Kayo's house, she wasn't there, and nobody at her house knew where she was, either. Instead, they found her in the AR Dungeon of a vending machine near her home that had Virusmon's stench, alongside that same Virusmon. Unlike her usual self, however, Kayo immediately asked Kazuki/Itsuki for help, explaining she attempted to defeat Virusmon only for it to spray Copipemon with its gas, infecting them. Copipemon then copied Virusmon, creating three more of it. It confessed it had been told of an Appli Driver with Copipemon as their Buddy Appmon then all four left to cause chaos in Yongendōri. Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon then fought the infected Copipemon, who used Dezipmon for Appli Skills. Copipemon was then purified and was left confused as they remembered nothing of what had happened. This clears the quest "The Suspicious Vending Machine". Copipemon also thanked Kazuki/Itsuki, which Logimon noted was different from his buddy.
Back in the Real World, Kayo intended to take responsibility for the Virusmon and ordered Kazuki/Itsuki to stay out of it. They refused to do it, however, arguing Copipemon had just returned to normal, and undertook the assignment as the sub quest "Operation Virusmon Purge". Kazuki/Itsuki defeated two Virusmon while Kayo defeated one, all copies. After Kazuki/Itsuki defeated the real Virusmon, Kayo and Copipemon showed up and Virusmon told them not to think it was the end before disappearing. Copipemon was glad that their blunder got fixed but Kayo went silent, then attempted to thank Kazuki/Itsuki but failed to, instead ordering them to thank her for accepting the Ranker battle but they'd fight after leaving the AR Dungeon. This clears the sub quest "Operation Virusmon Purge".
In the Real World, Kayo urged Kazuki/Itsuki and MCmon (on Appli Talk) to hurry up or else she'd go home. However, MCmon's connection was apparently bad as he kept cutting off, and it only kept getting worse until he boosted it and managed to fix it.
At the start of the fight, Kayo pointed out she wasn't a softie like the other Rank Masters and Kazuki/Itsuki's attack would do nothing to her Appmon and would only tire them out. Kayo opens the fight with Copipemon + Kabemon, which AppGattai into Mienumon. She follows that with Vegasmon and Consulmon, both Applinked with Effecmon. She also uses Tarotmon for Appli Skills.
Kayo seemingly refused to accept her defeat but quickly showed that to be a ruse. She still couldn't be honest, however, pretending she let Kazuki/Itsuki win, then properly thanked them for saving Copipemon and rescuing her in the school's AR Dungeon while leaving.
Later on, Kayo revealed she had not defeated but captured her Virusmon copy, which she gave to Ouji. Ouji was fine with having a copy with weaker abilities than the original as his plan could still proceed to the next stage. Some time after that, she set a Chaos Gate up in Mt. Yongen.
Since the Remote Cyber Arena was down, Kazuki/Itsuki went to talk to Kayo in the Cyber Arena about Kagefumi, as MCmon thought it'd be impossible to bring him into the Cyber Arena to battle him. However, Kayo refused to even talk to them until Logimon mentioned the B-Rank Master. Kayo explained that he was a severe recluse and not even she could get him out of his house despite repeated attempts. To Kazuki/Itsuki's surprise, as they thought Kayo hated them, she revealed he lived in Yongendōri. Kayo explained to them that she did hate them because they forcefully barged into other people's hearts but hoped they'd do the same to Kagefumi as well. She then left, annoyed.
Kayo joined Kazuki/Itsuki in Yongendōri after they failed to get a Kabemon that blocked the way to Kagefumi's house out of the way. She explained to them that all Kabemon in Yongendōri were Kagefumi's allies and were instructed to not let anyone in. Instead, Kayo told Kazuki/Itsuki to go over the mountain from behind her house then through a sewer to Kagefumi's house. Kayo knew the route because she used it often as a child, though that made her awkward again so she left while shouting at Kazuki/Itsuki.
Kayo arrived at Kagefumi's house before Kazuki/Itsuki did despite her terrible sense of direction. She confessed she used the route many times since she was a child so now she only occasionally made mistakes. She then told Kazuki/Itsuki that no one would respond the intercom and Kagefumi's Buddy Appmon, Craftmon, had barricated the entrance from the inside, so to get to Kagefumi, first they would need to disable Craftmon's control over the barricade. Kazuki/Itsuki didn't know how to do that if they couldn't get in but Kayo explained that the entire house was electronic, so they only needed to follow the AR Dungeons Copipemon had made in the appliances to get there. Kazuki/Itsuki questioned Kayo on connecting said AR Dungeons to the house's network without permission and Kayo explained she wanted to drag Kagefumi out, by force if needed, because they were childhood friends. In fact, Kayo was the one who introduced Kagefumi to Appmon battles for that very reason, which got him hooked to the point of becoming the B-Rank Master, yet that same reason made him even more withdrawn too. While Kazuki/Itsuki didn't understand how that could've happened, Kayo merely told them to enter the AR Dungeon, as they could use the logs there Kayo left behind to find out the truth. The Kabemon that blocked Kagefumi's house then showed up, accepting to step aside if that meant Kazuki/Itsuki would help Kagefumi.
After defeating Craftmon, Kazuki/Itsuki returned to the Real World, where he told Kayo about his success and asked her if she wanted to go in too. However, Kayo refused, trusting Kazuki/Itsuki with her friend while knowing she could meet him at any time after, though she refused to admit to them that she was counting on them. She then watched the livestream of Kazuki/Itsuki and Kagefumi's Ranker battle and praised Kazuki/Itsuki as they left Kagefumi's house. She then awkwardly thanked them but then switched gears and made it clear she would not help them again, and instead she would not let them rise any further or get close to Ouji. She then left, with Kazuki/Itsuki thinking that was very Kayo-like.
After Kazuki/Itsuki gathered all the Copipemon copies in the sub quest "Copipe Copy Copy Copipemon", Kayo showed up and questioned Copipemon on where they were, before seeing they had been playing with Kazuki/Itsuki, who had a rough time, not that Kayo cared. Regardless, she gave them 100 Copipemon Fragments to shut them up. Copipemon then left, followed by Kayo, who awkwardly thanked Kazuki/Itsuki for playing with Copipemon then rejected having said it.
At the end of the last Chaos Gate's AR Dungeon, Kazuki/Itsuki found Ouji and Kayo, confirming their suspicions that Ouji was behind the Chaos Gates. Ouji explained he had intentionally left the laptop behind so Kazuki/Itsuki would arrive there and was glad they came. Repeating his explanation of the Chaos AR-Field once more, Ouji pointed out even a minor outage from a Chaos Gate could cause a big impact, so he intended to carry it out on a much larger scale, to generate a massive Chaos AR-Field that would envelop the whole Earth. Kazuki/Itsuki didn't believe it was possible, but Ouji explained there was a system beneath the Cyber Arena linked to every Appli Driver worldwide, and by linking said system to the Chaos Gate's power through the Chaos AR-Field, it'd become possible to control the world. Naoto joined them afterwards, with Bootmon and Shutmon spawning in. Unlike with Kazuki/Itsuki, Ouji was not pleased by his presence. However, Naoto didn't care about Chaos Gates or ruling the world, and he was fine with Ouji doing it, so long as he first fought him as the Champion. Ouji was confused as to why Naoto was there but for Kazuki/Itsuki it was just natural they came to deactivate the Chaos Gate together, as they were best friends. This shattered Ouji's view of Kazuki/Itsuki, as he thought they'd understand and support him and couldn't accept the two of them being so close. He then asked Kayo to fight Naoto, knowing fully well she couldn't win but she could at least buy time while he defeated Kazuki/Itsuki. However, Kayo intended to defeat Naoto, while Naoto only wanted to fight Ouji. As Kayo blocked Naoto, Ouji explained to Kazuki/Itsuki that he had been interested in them all along because he thought they had the skill and ability to be his partner, only to now find it a mistake, and he proclaimed he'd protect the world.
After both battles were over, with Kazuki/Itsuki and Naoto winning, the former asked Ouji what he meant by "protecting the world" if he was taking over the world with the Chaos Gates. Ouji explained that "someone" had done what he said he would, using Hifumigaoka and its surroundings as an experiment. Said "someone" had been in hiding while controlling Jammingmon and Virusmon, and also controlled the placement of Chaos Gates via Appli Talk, even using Kayo, who didn't realize Ouji was aware of her involvement. Ouji told her he had been monitoring her Appli Talk logs while Kayo said she did it because she thought it'd be useful for him. Ouji was fine with that as he had used it to his advantage. He then explained the "0UJ1" passwords and the Chaos Gate on the school rooftop were meant to lead Kazuki/Itsuki to him while also taking advantage of "their" actions, though Ouji had miscalculated about Kazuki/Itsuki's bond with Naoto. Kazuki/Itsuki didn't understand what was strange about best friends working together. Naoto decided to let the "best friends" comment slide and instead questioned Naoto on him rejecting them working together. Ouji was fine with them being best friends but didn't think that was their bond, and instead thought they had teamed up, then told them not to use Chaos Gates to take over the world, confusing both of them as neither intended to do so. Ouji then revealed the mastermind behind this incident was Naoto's Buddy Appmon, Shutmon. Shutmon admitted this but explained he did it to grant Naoto's wish, so he could become strong enough to not depend on anyone, even if it meant reshaping the world. Shutmon then told Kazuki/Itsuki that Naoto had felt he had to become strong enough without relying on them for a long time, and it was at that time that he met Offmon, the offline game app's Appmon, who cut him from his family and friends to answer his wish, and he thought he had succeded until Onmon, now Bootmon, showed up. Bootmon had merely done the same as Shutmon - answer Kazuki/Itsuki's feelings and restore their connection with Naoto, which he then maintained. For Shutmon, though, that only meant Kazuki/Itsuki stirred Naoto's heart, so he tried to pull them apart in every way possible, which Ouji realized meant him stirring trouble for Kazuki/Itsuki, only for them to keep returning to Naoto, again and again, shaking Naoto's heart even more which would eventually return him to being weak, hence why Shutmon decided to recreate the world into one without Kazuki/Itsuki in it. Naoto cried out that he didn't want that, but for Shutmon that was only proof of how weak his heart had gotten and proclaimed they had to become stronger, and to do so, would accept Bootmon's "accursed" power. Shutmon then hijacked Naoto's Appli Drive using the Chaos AR-Field, forcing Bootmon into an AppGattai and becoming Rebootmon. As that was an AppGattai of two Ultimate Grade Appmon, Ouji knew that meant they had become a God Grade. Rebootmon proclaimed Kazuki/Itsuki's Buddy Appmon was gone then told Naoto to cast Kazuki/Itsuki aside and grow stronger, then remake the world into one just for them. Mio then called, screaming that she knew Naoto since far before Rebootmon did and wouldn't let him make a world for only them. Alongside her were the Rank Masters Yukari, Makoto and Kagefumi. Ouji also proclaimed they would protect the world, even against a God Appmon. Rebootmon explained that, as the fusion of Shutmon and Bootmon, he possessed both the ability to cut Appmon off and steal their power. With that, he took everyone's Appmon, and cut the connection with Mio and the rest. He then once again beckoned Naoto to go with him to a world without Kazuki/Itsuki where they wouldn't need to rely on anyone. Naoto agreed but with one condition: return all of Kazuki/Itsuki's Appmon, as if he had to not rely on Kazuki/Itsuki, then Rebootmon couldn't rely on their Appmon either. Rebootmon agreed and released them, including Bootmon, which to Ouji's surprise didn't make him revert, thanks to his ability to reboot and restore which instantly regenerated Bootmon's part, making him unneeded. Naoto told Kazuki/Itsuki this was his problem to solve then left with Rebootmon to go into the system.
With the two gone, Kazuki/Itsuki, Ouji and Kayo returned to the Real World where Mio and the Rank Masters were. Ouji's laptop was replaced with the proper Chaos Gate, and Ouji knew that's where Naoto and Rebootmon were but only Kazuki/Itsuki could follow them, as no one else had Appmon anymore. There, Kayo ordered Kazuki/Itsuki to hurry up with the rescue, before pointing out she didn't mean rescuing Naoto, she meant rescuing Copipemon and Ouji's Oujamon.
As Kazuki/Itsuki prepared to enter the AR Dungeon, Ouji asked them if they were going to save Naoto. Kayo reminded them that they had to save the world, but they should save their precious friend too. Makoto accepted it was all up to them again. Yukari was certain they would succeed. Kagefumi knew that their side that helped others even when told not to was what saved him and what would save Naoto. Mio wondered if it was her fault that Naoto had changed and begged Kazuki/Itsuki to save him, promising not to be selfish anymore. Bootmon had been saved by Naoto and wanted to return the favour. With all of those feelings riding on their back, Kazuki/Itsuki and Bootmon entered the AR Dungeon.
The intense fight between the two Rebootmon pushed Kazuki/Itsuki and Naoto back to the Real World and removed the Chaos Gate. Ouji asked them if that meant Rebootmon was defeated and they tried to explain the situation as much as they understood it. Rebootmon then called Kazuki/Itsuki, who confirmed the virus-infected Rebootmon was defeated, though the Chaos AR-Field was still active and the virus-infected Appmon rampage was still ongoing, as Kayo confirmed. Ouji stated it was because the deepest parts of the system had been corrupted by the Chaos Gate and the infected Rebootmon spread the virus worldwide. Rebootmon could undo it with their powers of regeneration and rebooting though, returning the system to the state before it was corrupted. While Mio thought that was amazing, Ouji pointed out that the system contined the Artificial Intelligence of all the Appmon in the area, so resetting it could mean their Appmon would disappear, Rebootmon included. Oujamon stated the Buddy Appmon were aware of the risk, however, and chose to entrust everything to Rebootmon. Mio begged Rebootmon not to do it as Tutomon may disappear, but Tutomon found the request too heartbreaking, as this was something they were all prepared for. Mio cried out they finally got to meet and be together. Rebootmon asked Kazuki/Itsuki to give them the signal to reboot. Kazuki/Itsuki reminded them they said they'd always be together, and Rebootmon confirmed it, as their souls would always remain by Kazuki/Itsuki's and Naoto's side. With that acknowledged, Kazuki/Itsuki gave the order. Rebootmon thanked Kazuki/Itsuki and Naoto and told them they were glad to have met them.
The reboot succeeded, vanishing the Chaos AR-Field and the infected Appmon, alongside the Buddy Appmon. Yukari tried to comfort Mio only to break down into tears herself. Makoto couldn't believe that Yadomon would disappear just when he decided to stay an Appli Driver. Kayo tried to get everyone to cheer up as the system and the world had been saved, and their Buddies would be sad too if they were. Naoto blamed himself for everything and said he intended to make up for it. Kazuki/Itsuki took responsibility too. However, the Buddy Appmon then returned, with Bootmon and Shutmon separated. The credits then roll.
The original Exchange Festival Hifumigaoka team was Ouji, Naoto, Makoto, and Kazuki/Itsuki, with Kayo supporting them. However, Mio then showed up and demanded to not be left out. Naoto ordered her to go cheer with Kayo, but her determination convinced Ouji to let the team members be decided by lottery, which Kayo, Makoto and Kazuki/Itsuki agreed with. Thus, Ouji replaced by Mio, to Kayo's anger, but she calmed down after Ouji told her they'd handle the commentary together.
Ouji and Kayo's commentary in the Exchange Festival went as follows:
- Round 1, battle 1 was Kazuki/Itsuki vs Asuka Torajirou. Ouji commented that Astra's Buddy Appmon was the music app's Appmon, Musimon, so whether he could feel it would decide the match, an explanation Kayo praised. After the fight, Ouji commented that Kazuki/Itsuki disrupted Astra's rhythm perfectly.
- Round 1, battle 2 was Mio vs Katsura Rei. According to Ouji and Kayo, Mio tried to disrupt Rei's pace but he was completely unaffected and dominated the match.
- Round 1, battle 3 was Naoto vs Karan Eri. According to Ouji and Kayo, Eri tried for a one-hit KO with a full-power idol Dokkan Punch, but it didn't work on Naoto who had no interest in idols.
- Round 1, battle 4 was Makoto vs Shinkai Haru. Ouji found the battle intense and exciting, with Makoto's seemingly plain but calculated moves confusing Haru. Kayo agreed with that. Makoto took it as an insult, as if they were telling him he fought and lost plainly. As such, two members of each team passed on to round 2: Kazuki/Itsuki and Naoto from Hifumigaoka, and Haru and Rei from Fujimizaka. Ouji thought their battles would be worth watching, as Kayo said his profile was worth watching.
- Semifinals, battle 1 was Kazuki/Itsuki vs Rei. Ouji commented that Rei's Raidramon was a Super Hacking Appmon, a troublesome opponent for Teito Security. Kayo had to remind him that Rei's opponent was Kazuki/Itsuki. After the fight, Ouji commented that Kazuki/Itsuki's passion overcame Rei's calmness, making for an exciting battle, which Kayo agreed with, if only to parrot Ouji.
- Semifinals, battle 2 was Naoto vs Haru. According to Ouji, there wasn't a big skill gap between them but Haru was enjoying the battle more.
- Finals was Kazuki/Itsuki vs Haru. Ouji believed were nearly equals in skill and commented that Haru's DoGatchmon was a Super Search Appmon, so they should assume he already knew all of Kazuki/Itsuki's data and give them a fight beyound their limits. Kayo, from her part, fantasized about DoGatchmon also knowing all of Ouji's data. After the fight, Ouji commented that both of them had shown strong bonds with their Buddies and had a great battle, but Kazuki/Itsuki had proven themself stronger. Both Ouji and Kayo congratulated the winner, though Kayo had to add that things would've been different if Ouji participated.
Kayo is one of the possible opponents for Kazuki/Itsuki in the Rankers' Match tournament. There, she claims she let Kazuki/Itsuki win in their Ranker battle. She uses her Buddy Appmon, now Warudamon, Weatherdramon, Docmon, all Applinked with Kabemon. She also uses Mienumon and Consulmon for Appli Skills.
