Burst (バースト Baasuto), also known as Appli Burst (アプリバースト Apuri Baasuto), is a temporary evolutionary process that allows the power of an Appmon to be enhanced.

Appli Drive Toy

In the Appli Drive Toy, Burst is triggered during the Appliarise sequence by rapidly pressing the A or B button. Upon a successful activation, the device announces "Burst!", the LCD screen turns red, and the Appmon's power value increases beyond its normal level.

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters (3DS)

In Digimon Universe Appli Monsters (3DS), Appli Burst is a battle mechanic that can occur when the player's remaining battery power becomes low during battle. When an Appmon enters the Appli Burst state, all of its stats are significantly boosted and its HP is fully restored, potentially allowing the player to reverse the flow of battle. Buddy Appmon and Favorite Appmon have a slightly higher chance of activating Appli Burst than other Appmon.
