Batterimon is infected with the L-Virus, and Unryuji Knight orders him to unleash chaos on L-Town in "Thank You Future! Welcome to the City of AI!". He manages to drain the energy of Gatchmon, Dokamon, and Musimon with his Electric Charge, but is ultimately defeated by a single Switch Lazy from Offmon after the latter is powered up by Yujin's Overdrive.

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters/Cyber Arena

Batterimon is originally found at the Cyber Arena. There, he recharges the Appli Drive battery as a favour to his friend, MCmon. If you lose a battle, the battery will be restored, so you will be able to restart from before Batterimon. Other Batterimon appear in gas stations and similar locations and do the same thing.

After fixing Mio's smartphone, Batterimon sends Kazuki/Itsuki to find him another place that can be connected to the Cyber Arena so he can also recharge their Appli Drive from there as the subquest "Batterimon's Request". The protagonist then goes to the gas station in the AR-Field, where they find another, infected Batterimon. After defeating said Batterimon, he returns to his senses and reveals Virusmon had infected him, then left towards a locked AR Dungeon. To unlock it, Batterimon gives the protagonist 100 of his Fragments then explains them that System-attribute Appmon like him can unlock the AR Dungeon.

After connecting the gas station to the Cyber Arena, the Cyber Arena's Batterimon entered the AR Dungeon and thanked the protagonist and Onmon for their work, asked them to talk to the gas station's Batterimon, then left. Said Batterimon thanked them as well then taught the protagonist about AppGattai and App Enhancement for the battles to come.

Before the High-End GP could start, MCmon contacted the gas station Batterimon as the Cyber Arena was not receiving electricity, which was caused by an AR Dungeon that an Appmon had set up on the charger that provided electricity to the Cyber Arena. MCmon ordered Kazuki/Itsuki to fix it as the subquest "Electricity, Please!". After defeating the infected Tapmon (Tool) that caused the issue, Batterimon thanked Kazuki/Itsuki and explained to them that MCmon had already left.

While looking for Yukari in the infirmary of Hifumigaoka Middle School, Kazuki/Itsuki found a Batterimon there instead so they asked it if Yukari went to the infirmary to recharge her Appli Drive. However, Batterimon stated that she went there also because of her Buddy Appmon, though before it could say who said Buddy was, Onmon interrupted it as Mio was arriving.

Search app: "Batterimon is a battery app. They restore your Appli Drive's battery! Lost a battle? First go to a Batterimon to recharge, and then try again. They're at gas stations all over. Look for one when visiting new places! They're helping in the Cyber Arena by MCmon's request...wait, are they friends?!"
