Profile

As a secret forums app, Kosomon is naturally sneaky and defends sharing information in secret. He's also into flowers, enough to get distracted and lose his precious Member Badge. He cares greatly about returning favours and defending his bonds, much like his Appli Driver, Ryouji. As with all Kosomon, he also appends "koso" at the end of his sentences.

Kazuki/Itsuki met Kosomon at Hifumigaoka (South) while looking for an Appmon that was causing an incident at Blossom Park. Kosomon was startled at suddenly being called out and explained that, as a secret forums app, it was natural for him to sneak around. While Kazuki/Itsuki thought that sounded sketchy, Kosomon explained that it let people share the truth of the world in secret. Kosomon then explained that he got captivated by Blossom Park's flowers, which let a sneaky Appmon with flashy lights steal his precious badge, and he'd be doomed if that got shared on the secret forums. As such, he asked Kazuki/Itsuki to get his badge back as the quest "Retrieve the Precious Badge".

After defeating Lightmon, Kazuki/Itsuki gave Kosomon his badge back. He was very grateful for it and thought they'd meet again, so he promised to repay the favour when that happened. This would happen a bit later, when the Mihama Gang surrounded Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon, Kosomon joined them and defended Kazuki/Itsuki. All of the Mihama Gang members were shocked after Kosomon mentioned Kazuki/Itsuki recovered his badge. Kosomon then asked the Mihama Gang members to let Kazuki/Itsuki take the Mihama Gang's trials, three tough trials that would get them recognized by the Mihama Gang and let them meet their leader, Ryouji.

However, meeting Ryouji did not help Kazuki/Itsuki's case, as he was just as doubtful of them as the rest of the Mihama Gang and interrogated them, and without listening to their answers, Appliarised Kosomon, proving him to be Ryouji's Buddy Appmon. Kosomon congratulated Kazuki/Itsuki on passing the Mihama Gang trials then explained to Ryouji who Kazuki/Itsuki were, proving they weren't a villain. Kazuki/Itsuki explained they were only in Mihamakou for the D-Ranker battle and the Water Quality Lab incident was caused by an infected Weathermon which they stopped. Kosomon confirmed Weathermon testified the same on his secret forums app. With that, Ryouji was now fully convinced Kazuki/Itsuki was an important guest who had protected the town and was therefore subject to rule #5: "Treat guests with care".

Ryouji opens his Ranker battle with Kazuki/Itsuki by having Kosomon and Newsmon perform AppGattai into Gossipmon. He also returns to Gossipmon, this time immediately in that form and Applinked with Tubumon, as his fourth Appmon.

As they had to look out for a new infected Appmon incident in Mihamakou, Kazuki/Itsuki went to Ryouji for information. However, neither Ryouji nor Kosomon knew about it, so Kosomon searched the secret forums and found news about strange outfits becoming a trend, that after the Weathermon incident, a red-brick clothing store that used to sell popular fashion outfits instead started only selling strange ones, troubling its customers. Kazuki/Itsuki and Logimon decided to go check the store so Ryouji asked them if they wanted the Mihama Gang's help, but Kazuki/Itsuki refused it as this was a challenge against the C-Rank Master, Kayo. Regardless, Ryouji told him the Mihama Gang was always ready to help.
