Newsmon's official artwork is used for one of the in-game stamps.
A businessman kept receiving news at such a speed that he couldn't read them all in the sub quest "Mystery of the Weird News". He also couldn't cancel them and, since he couldn't stop himself from reading them, he kept getting distracted from his job. As they thought an Appmon may be behind it, Kazuki/Itsuki went into the businessman's phone's AR Dungeon, where they met Newsmon who refused to stop delivering the businessman news as that was its true purpouse, and would turn whoever got in its way into the headline of its next article. After being defeated, Newsmon explained it wanted people to enjoy reading interesting news, and since the businessman really enjoyed them, it sent them at a faster speed to make him happy, though it ended up going overboard. Having learnt its lesson in moderation, Newsmon promised to be careful from there on. Sadly for the businessman, the lack of news only meant he now worried about missing something interesting going on so he was still just as distracted.
