Digimon Universe Appli Monsters/Cyber Arena

An infected Tapmon was the one who stopped the electricity from the gas station from reaching the Cyber Arena in the quest "Electricity, Please!", having been ordered to do so by its boss. After being defeated, it ran away.

From an infected smartphone in Nikotamagawa, Tapmon then caused every smartphone in the area to go offline. This also affected Wakaba's Appli Drive. Kazuki/Itsuki went into the smartphone to stop it. There, Tapmon recognized them as the ones who lost to it earlier, only to be corrected that it ran away, not won. Tapmon was uninterested in it however and declared it'd beat them as one of the Three Evil Mons. After being defeated, Tapmon surrendered and confessed, if accidentally, to being ordered to go into the smartphone by its boss. Incapable of understanding just how much information it had given out, Tapmon believed Kazuki/Itsuki and Onmon were psychics because they knew about the Three Evil Mons and its boss. It refused to say anything more about its boss without being defeated first, only for Onmon to point out it was already defeated, so it just escaped again. The bad smell Onmon felt from the smartphone disappeared as well. This clears the quest "Net Outage Investigation 1".

Another, non-infected Tapmon (Tool) somehow managed to be unaffected by the Chaos AR-Field in Hifumigaoka and fought alongside Yukari and Aidmon. However, it ended up greatly wounded and the other two were unable to treat it due to constant rampaging Appmon attacks until Kazuki/Itsuki showed up. After protecting them, Yukari and Aidmon healed Tapmon, who then ran away.
