During the quest "Retrieve the Precious Badge", a Lightmon caused issues at Blossom Park, which alerted Yukari, who then told Kazuki/Itsuki about it. It was proud of itself for lighting up things and it justified itself by saying it was following its bright ideas. It also stole Kosomon's badge as a keepsake because it sparkled brilliantly when its light hit it. Since it refused to give it back, Kazuki/Itsuki fought it. After being defeated, Lightmon gave the badge back and decided to stop bothering people for a while.
