Even though it appears to be a Bird Digimon at first glance, it is a strange Digimon with verdant, lush vegetation growing from its back. Like Kiwimon, it possesses some of the characteristics of plants and is not able to fly. It is very prideful and believes itself to be nobility, but in truth, it finds the fact that it cannot fly agonising. That said, as expected of a Digimon that has evolved until the Perfect level, it is a capable Digimon with high combat ability. It boasts of the crown it wears on its head, and its beak that shines gold. Its Special Move is firing curious objects similar to eggs or nuts from the thicket on its back (Royal Nuts).

The Player jumps to defend Pagumon, so Delumon decides to pick on them instead, and sends their lackeys to do so. After they're beaten, Delumon calls them useless and fights the Player themself. After being defeated, Delumon asks for forgiveness and explains that Pagumon reminds them of a Digimon that bullied them. The Player tells they shouldn't pick on those weaker than themself and they agree, then orders their lackeys to do so too. Afterwards, they all leave.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

As the Chosen Children arrived to Pinochimon's mansion in Episode 55, "Pursuit! Defeat Pinochimon!", they saw seemingly two of Pinochimon's minions, Delumon (who spoke in an old timey way) and Floramon, outside of it. Tentomon thought they were weak and they could take them on, but Yagami Taichi stopped him as they didn't know what else awaited them, so they all ambushed them together.

Delumon and Floramon are the 64th obligatory boss of the game, fighting the Chosen Children in Episode 55, "Pursuit! Defeat Pinochimon!". Delumon can deal multiple hits to the entire party with Royal Nuts and deal damage to one Digimon with Gorgeous Beak. Delumon can counterattack hits taken with Counter. Upon being defeated, they drop a Defend DigiPiece and a Super Luck DigiPiece, the latter of which significantly increases drop rate.

After being defeated, Delumon demanded an explanation for the Chosen Children's attack. Agumon justified it because they were Pinochimon's minions, though both of them denied it. Delumon explained they were merely seeking a playmate, which made sense to Takaishi Takeru (who copied Delumon's speech) as Pinochimon had no friends. Taichi asked them if Pinochimon was in but he wasn't, so Takeru offered Delumon as their guide. While Delumon agreed, her services ended up being unneeded as Pinochimon arrived soon after. Terrified, Delumon and Floramon ran away.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

A Delumon in Jyureimon's Observatory thought it was the perfect place to fly from, but it was scared as it had never flown before. After Taiga tells it to just give up, Delumon attempts to fly, but it fails to do so and just falls off the Observatory. Delumon then whined about its failure and went back up.

Delumon is an unobtainable Digimon.
