Owen Dreadnought is a character in Digimon Liberator. He was the World Champion of the Digimon Card Game before losing the title to Zenith.
Profile[edit]
An engineer and former Digimon Card Game World Champion. He joined Liberator as a debugger during the beta test but quit early to prepare for the World Championship. After the official service launch, he started playing the game again as a regular user.
He has a difficult personality, which is actually just a front to hide his shyness. As a result, he rarely opens up to others and finds the unrestrained and intrusive Kazama Shoto annoying.
There are signs that the two of them have met before...

Digimon Liberator[edit]
During the finals of the Digimon Card Game World Championship in "Welcome to LACUNA", the announcer introduced the participants: the defending champion, Owen, and the challenger, Zenith. With a call of "Digital Gate, Open", the players set up their decks, Security and hands. The card game began with Owen playing an Agumon. The battle then moved to the end, Zenith and a Ragnamon defeating Owen and his War Greymon. Later on, Owen entered Lacuna in Digimon Liberator.
Owen participates in a card battle against Shoto Kazama in "Re:START" (Part 2). During a flashback, Owen and his Cyberdramon are shown spotting Shoto during their early days in Lacuna, prior to their first reunion. Owen and Shoto discuss their shared past as shown in "Re:START" (Part 1). The battle ends with Owen clearing up the misunderstanding between them and using War Greymon to defeat Shoto.
