The D-Storage is a model of Digivice that is used by Players of Digimon Liberator. It is also used as an accessory to play the Digimon Card Game outside of the online game.
Overview[edit]
The D-Storage is a multifunctional deck case essential to playing Digimon Liberator. By registering an account on the official Digimon Liberator website and linking it to their D-Storage, players can access the game from a T.A.L.E.
D-Storages can be purchased at toy stores, card shops, and amusement facilities nationwide, and on the official Digimon Liberator online store. It offers various features to make up for its high price.
Due to the game's popularity, the D-Storage often sells out, but it is regularly restocked.
A variety of colors and designs are available, and collaboration models with popular Digimon Liberator players are also being considered for future release.[1]
Design[edit]
The D-Storage is a cubic device. It can open up to store up to 55 cards, serving as a deck case.
Functions[edit]
- Real World:
- Digimon Liberator:
- Project a holographic menu with various options[2]
- Initiate card battles through the command "Digital Gate open". Upon initiating them, the Players' security shields and Digimon are projected into LACUNA"[3]
- Create a Tamer card upon accessing Digimon Liberator. Referencing registered details like birthdate and blood type, three potential skills are generated, from which the player selects one as their initial skill[1]
- This Tamer card develops and changes based on the number of battles fought and items used within the game[1]
- Facilitates communication with other players, can be used for private chats with friends, can receive notifications from the admins, and announcements of in-game events[1]
- Allows checking battle records[1]
- Register and summon Partner Digimon through their specific cards and a button in the holographic menu[1]
- Partner Digimon can take over played cards of Digimon in their evolution line, turning them into their own bodies[2]
- Store Wild Digimon as Partner Digimon. Upon obtaining one, a Player's deck may change[2]
- Alarm clock functionality[4]
- Library:
- Using an Unique Emblem, evolve a Partner-registered Digimon outside of a card battle.[5]
In-game items[edit]
Through the Library, the player can store and access the following items:
- Instant Portals: consumable items that allow for instant travel to any hub within the same area. They're distributed as a login bonus and can also be purchased from the in-game shop. Only one is consumed per travel. However, they cannot be used to move to different areas.[1]
- Accessories: players can customize their avatars and partner Digimon with accessories, which can be earned as rewards from in-game events or by completing missions. These accessories come in a variety of designs, ranging from cute to cool, including some that are themed after specific Digimon.[1]
- Ability Items: by using ability items, players can obtain Tamer cards that are enriched with various abilities. These items are also available through in-game events and as rewards from battles. The more powerful the ability a card confers, the higher its rarity, and naturally, higher rarity items are more difficult to obtain. However, there is a chance of acquiring these items with a low probability in NPC events.[1]
- Alt-Art Chips: change the art of scanned cards into the "Alt-Art" version or another special rare version. While Alt-Art Chips are regularly obtainable items, the amount needed to change a card may increase depending on the rarity of the card and the rarity of the desired art.[1]
- LC (Lacuna Coin): in-game currency. LC can be spent on buying card packs, accessories, and other items. Players can earn LC as battle rewards or by selling cards and items they've acquired within the game. Additionally, certain NPC events allow players to earn LC through in-game jobs.[1]
