Diatrymon is the Partner Kemonogami of Hinata Minoru. In Part 2, after the party meets back with the Professor Minase Akiharu, Minoru wants to be a hero and protect him, but is too scared to do so. Falcomon convinces him that he can, which gives Minoru the courage to pursue his dream. This allows Falcomon to evolve into Diatrymon.

Diatrymon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's a Mobility-type, Moral (Vaccine)-attribute, Adult-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is Mega Dash Impact (85 power, 0 SP, deals Wind damage to target) and its special attack is Destruction Roar (175 power, 30 SP, deals Wind damage to target with a low chance of raising its PHYS ATK and SP ATK one rank). Its Passive Skill is Powerful Legs (Increases SPD one rank). Diatrymon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Diatrymon or a Free Diatrymon:

• Partner Diatrymon evolves from Falcomon and can evolve into Yatagaramon, Valdurmon and Zhuqiaomon. All of these are unlocked by clearing specific events.
• Free Diatrymon evolves from Piyomon and can evolve into Yatagaramon and Garudamon by using Perfect Enlightenment Slabs.
