By combining 100 Dark Towers, Archnemon created Black War Greymon.
Live Action[edit]
Digimon Project 2021[edit]
Black War Greymon first appears at the end of Digimon Identified Memory, trying to enter the Real World through a dimensional hole. It is shown again in VITAL BRACELET Lab, after Palmon's Tamer presses a red overlay message saying OPEN THE GATE?, and the overlay then identifies this as an encounter with a Raid Boss and starting a timer for it. This also causes the Real World to glitch up and several other Digimon to appear in it as part of the Raid Boss Battle, as well as stopping the battle between Greymon and Bulkmon.
After the timer hits zero and Palmon's Tamer touches her cellphone with her Vital Bracelet in BE STRONG WITH YOU, Black War Greymon is released into the Real World. It then flies up to the top of a building, going through a RAID BOSS ENCOUNTERED overlay. On it, Bulkmon and his Tamer prepare to fight the Raid Boss. They calm their heightened heartbeat, and then Bulkmon rushes at Black War Greymon. It attempts to punch the Ultimate, but the latter easily avoids it, before trying to slam it with both of its hands, though Bulkmon protects itself and pushes Black War Greymon away. Black War Greymon then throws a Gaia Force at Bulkmon, which pushes him back. The connection between Bulkmon and his Tamer causes the latter to also be hit, pushing him off the building. However, to save him, Greymon evolves into Rize Greymon and catches him in midair. Rize Greymon then returns to the building, with both Bulkmon's Tamer and Palmon riding it. Now united, the three Tamers and their Partner Digimon, including Peti Meramon, prepare to fight Black War Greymon, as an overlay states that the Raid Battle now begins. A blue EVOLUTION! ring appears around Bulkmon's Tamer, and Bulkmon once again rushes at Black War Greymon as it evolves, pushing them both off the building. Black War Greymon manages to get Bulkmon off it, only for Bulkmon to complete its evolution into Boutmon and stop itself by punching the building and standing on it, defying gravity. Boutmon and Black War Greymon then hit each other, with none gaining an advantage before Black War Greymon is hit by a shot from Rize Greymon's Trident Revolver, which it follows with several Rising Destroyer lasers. Black War Greymon flies way from them and manages to destroy them, only for Palmon to appear from their explosions and slap it in the face with its Poison Ivy, cracking its helmet. Black War Greymon then releases a wave of wind. Boutmon flies on top of Rize Greymon towards it, and Black War Greymon rushes towards them, only for Boutmon to jump off Rize Greymon and spin several times in midair, charging up electricity before slamming it into Black War Greymon from above with a Raigekishou, which causes a pulse-like bolt of lightning to appear for a moment, followed by an explosion of light which blinds the Tamers. Boutmon's Tamer's Vital Bracelet shows that Boutmon has won the fight, and Boutmon lands on the building once again, as they celebrate their victory.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Black War Greymon appears in Beginner City's Battle Café after Igloo City's fourth Battle Arena is cleared, and the player accumulates 300 wins. Upon talking to him, he tells the player that he's a worthy opponent and challenges him to enter his Arena.
Black War Greymon is the third and last opponent of Beginner City's fourth Battle Arena, the last in the game. As such, he calls himself the Master of all Masters, and stakes the title against the player in their match. Black War Greymon plays the Black Fire Heart Deck, a Red/Flame deck with 5 attack, 4 defense and 3 evolution speed, that has Void Support and attack power. Upon being defeated, he's awed at the player's power, but tells him not to misuse it, as a power of that magnitude will cause misery if misused and must be used for good causes. As the last opponent in the game, once Black War Greymon is beaten, the player is shown data about their playthrough, finishing with a title, all of which can be checked from the Player's Room afterwards.
If talked to in the Battle Café after clearing the Battle Arena, Black War Greymon will tell the player that he's worthy of the Proof of Miracles, and thus will give him the Digimental of Miracles for his V-mon Partner Card if chosen as one of the player's three Partner Cards.
He's not obtainable as a card in the game, one of only three Digimon not to be, alongside Great King Scumon and Black Metal Garurumon.

Black War Greymon is a possible boss in the game, if Ryo Akiyama takes too long to go through Black Digitama's Crevasse. If Ryo makes it in ten minutes, the Digitama will instead hatch into Dark Tyranomon; ten to twenty minutes will yield SkullGreymon, while twenty to thirty will hatch Black War Greymon. Above thirty, Ryo will have to deal with an extra-powerful Black War Greymon.

They fight in the 40th floor Free Battle: "Hot-Blooded Chivalry". After being defeated, Black War Greymon wonders if it was just waiting for someone to take it down then decides to work for the Village of Beginnings in the Warehouse.
Another Black War Greymon stopped the heroes as they climbed the Digitower's Colosseum towards Vitium, their first challenge there, as it was ordered to annihilate them. Kuga Yuuya realized it was the same type of Digimon as his Black but without the X-Antibody, so he asked Taiga to fight it together to finish the fight in half the time, confident that Black wouldn't lose to another Black War Greymon. While they were able to beat it, Yuuya was left winded afterwards.
