He immediately thanks the player for his help at Sage Tower, then points out that everyone's talking about how many battles the player has had and how strong he is, so he wants to battle him too, offering to introduce him to Koshiro if he loses. Atlur Kabuterimon plays the Interception Trap deck, a Blue/Water, Green/Nature and Yellow/Rare deck with 4 attack, 3 defense and 4 evolution speed, that uses Counter combos. Upon being defeated, he accepts that people's praise of the player is true, but tells him not to underestimate Koshiro.
Atlur Kabuterimon later appears as the second opponent of Sage Tower's second and third Battle Arenas. Before their first fight there, he tells the player that War Greymon brought him there, that he wanted to challenge the player again, and that he was told that the player beat Koshiro. Recognizing this as an incredible feat, Atlur Kabuterimon tells the player that he'll fight with all he has. Upon being defeated, he accepts he's no match for the player and wishes he was better, and also realizes how he beat Koshiro, though he isn't particularly interested in winning anyways.
