Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

It was heavily implied that Sirenmon was a Ceresmon in the past but inexplicably devolved back into a Sirenmon. Documents of a rare fruit known as the Karpos Hulē does exist even before Sirenmon became Ceresmon in the game.

Sirenmon is the second in command of Gear Forest, under Bacchusmon. Despite her position, she normally has to take care of everything, as Bacchusmon is too drunk to do so. This includes when they first met Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Misono Inori and Aegiomon in "The World Tree's Cry", where she had to take them to the top of the World Tree. There, they found out that the Energy Vein of Iliad had been eroded by the Titans. They repelled the Titans, led by an Okuwamon, and only there Bacchusmon arrived, now sober.

Eight years later, in the original timeline, the Titans carefully crafted a plan to get rid of Bacchusmon. They would let him drive away an invasion as usual to let him toast, then send a Witchmon to put everyone to sleep after the party when everyone was too drunk to defend themselves. They then picked off and killed everyone save for Bacchusmon one-by-one with the exception of Sirenmon, who was out in the sanctuary fighting Tyrant Kabuterimon alone, getting her killed alongside everyone else. Her death, which, alongside the death of the rest of his people, led Bacchusmon to commit suicide. The deaths of the Gear Forest's guardians were secretly part of Chronomon's plan to plunge Aegiomon into despair and end up becoming as miserable as he is, then have his creation put him out of his misery, resulting in the catastrophic Shinjuku Inferno.

After travelling back in time and saving Bacchusmon from Witchmon in "The Titans' Grudge", the Agent and the rest confront Tyrant Kabuterimon while he was gloating to a wounded Sirenmon about how they would take over the Energy Vein and how everything had gone according to plan even despite the overwhelming strength of Bacchusmon, only for him to get punched by said Digimon when the party arrived.

During the fight itself, Bacchusmon apologises to Sirenmon for having left his guard down but Sirenmon tells him that's fine as she now understands the weight of his responsibility. Sirenmon then apologises herself for letting Bacchusmon shoulder said responsibility all alone. Bacchusmon tells Sirenmon he knew how sincerely thankful she was and always heard her singing to heal his body and soul, even when he was drunk and half asleep, so he never felt his responsibility was a burden or that he was alone. Finally, Sirenmon begs Bacchusmon to protect Gear Forest so they can then throw a party and celebrate, with her singing her best songs as that was essential for a party, something Bacchusmon agreed with so he told her to take good care of her singing voice for the incoming long party. Bacchusmon then Mode Changes to his Crapulence Mode.

Tyrant Kabuterimon escaped following his defeat, marking the end of the Titans' attack on Gear Forest. This was not without casualties however, as Sirenmon soon after passed away from her wounds. Bacchusmon was sure she wasn't dead, however, and indeed, part of her survived as a sprout in the Sanctuary.

Travelling back in time eight years, Sirenmon stopped the Agent's battle with Jyureimon in the side mission "A Stubborn Fog". Jyureimon then explained he thickened the fog to bar all entry on Sirenmon's orders, though Sirenmon then told him that her guests were exceptions to that rule. However, a tremor then happened, which led Sirenmon to explain that she had felt an odd presence in the sanctuary which she thought could be a dangerous intruder so she asked Jyureimon to raise the fog and keep the residents out. Sirenmon then asked the Agent to follow her to the sanctuary, where they found an Atlur Kabuterimon, driven mad by the Energy Vein. As it was pointless to talk to it, Sirenmon decided to beat some sense into it instead. During the fight, Sirenmon can use Gale Storm II.

After Atlur Kabuterimon returned to normal, Sirenmon performed a ritual so no more Digimon would lose their minds.

During "The God of Speed's Wish" Venusmon found a Karpos Hulē fruit from the sprout where Sirenmon was. She used it to create a medicine that completely revitalized Mercurymon, who then teamed up with the Agent to reclaim Central Town.

When Aegiomon and the Agent evolved into Jupitermon in "The Cycle of Time", Sirenmon also Death Evolved into Ceresmon and was present amongst the Apostles of Iliad gathering in the Gear Forest.

After traveling back in time and forming Bacchusmon's band, the Agent is then called by Ceresmon's sprout form (identified as Tree Sprout (Ceresmon) in dialogue) who listened to the band's beautiful singing. As the Agent didn't recognize her in that form, Ceresmon reintroduced herself and explained she was healing her body in that form. Sadly, this meant she couldn't move and she wanted to talk to others and know how the village had changed, so she asked the Agent to tell her. She was happy to hear that the band of Tonosama Gekomon and two Gekomon was back together, though she wished to hear them from right up close, so the Agent offered to bring them to her instead as the side mission "Fertilizer for the Soul". Their song served as her nourishment, giving her new growth. To thank the Agent and the band, she gave them ripe fruit of the Karpos Hulē and permission to get more at their leisure.

The Agent and Nanimon found themselves on her back in "The Final Battle over the Natural Order" after escaping from the Akashic Maze. Inori and Aegiomon soon joined them, with the latter explaining who Ceresmon was and how they were circling around the Akashic Records, close enough to Chronomon that they could see him. The rest of the Apostles of Illiad were also on Ceresmon's back, alongside other allies such as the Kokuwamon duo, Piccolomon, Hippogriffomon, and Plutomon. There, the agent can eavesdrop her as Ceresmon Medium speaking to Bacchusmon. She explained to him that this was her true form, told Bacchusmon to call her by her current name, and thanked him for looking over her for years in her sprout form, from which she felt his constant presence. Ceresmon Medium wished to thank him for it but knew it wasn't the time so Bacchusmon proposed having a great feast after they defeated Chronomon.

After Chronomon devolved the Agent's Digimon to the Baby I Generation with Chrono Devolution and Aegiomon realized he could use the same power to bring them back, Apollomon and Dianamon joined the fight. They lent their power to the Agent, as did Ceresmon Medium despite not joining the fight personally. When Apollomon and Dianamon tried to stop Chronomon's Nikumishi Unmei, Minervamon, riding Ceresmon, appeared. Ceresmon tackled Chronomon, stopping his attack.

After the fight, Ceresmon brought the Apostles of Iliad back to the proper Iliad. Jupitermon then swore to protect the world alongside them and gave them the name Olympos XII.
