Host Computer

A Host Computer (ホストコンピューター Hosuto Konpyūtā), or simply Host (ホスト Hosuto), is a supreme AI ruler system that serves as the central server and administrator for a specific Digital World, of which they are responsible for their rules and stability, often having significant authority over the Digimon within it and maintaining its overall structure. For this reason, they are sometimes referred to as "Gods" of their respective digital realms. They can create avatars or have a form of consciousness or physical manifestation, like a server tree; they also command powerful organizations to carry out its will and enforce their rules, like the Olympos XII or the Royal Knights.

Hosts can sometimes clash with each other, with their different goals, leading to conflicts between their respective Digital Worlds.

Host Computer	Description
Atanasoff	One of the first two computers to be created, it laid down the foundations of the Digital World and protected it from the shadows.
ENIAC	One of the first two computers to be created, it built upon the foundations of the Digital World, and because of its unique nature, it exists in multiple universes all at once.
Homeostasis	A digital entity that mantains balance in the Digital World, acting as a successor or surrogate to Yggdrasill in some continuities. Occasionally, Homeostasis is described as a higher being that oversees multiple host computers and Digital Worlds.

Yggdrasil appeared as the main antagonist following Kurata Akihiro's downfall. It deploys the Royal Knights to purge humanity for Kurata's crimes.

Yggdrasil was one of the main antagonists alongside Meicoomon. Alphamon is its subordinate.

Manga

Digimon Next

A side of Yggdrasil appeared as Mikihara Norn to learn more about humans. Unlike most Yggdrasil incarnations, this avatar of Yggdrasil was strictly an ally.

The main Yggdrasil was usurped by Barbamon shortly after it split its own consciousness into Norn.

Digimon Xros Wars

Yggdrasil went onto a rampage and was supplanted by Homeostasis. Its body was used by Bagramon to reconstruct the right side of its body.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger

All three host computers; Yggdrasill, Homeros and Kunlun appear and have human avatars that they use to interact with. All of them are strictly allies and are subordinate to Homeostasis.
