Profile[edit]
Titamon is the commander of the Titans and a servant of Plutomon. He is powerful enough to open gates to the Real World through brute strength.
According to a Wisemon stationed inside the Dark Palace, he is not a native of Iliad. He came from another world and went onto a rampage, but was defeated by Plutomon and decided to work for him since then.
As a Tunomon, Titamon is sometimes seen atop of Dorimon as if they were still Titamon + Skull Baluchimon.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger Prelude[edit]
Titamon appeared near the end of the short, during the Digimon attack that occurred 3 years prior to the events of the game. He cleaved open a portal and fought Justimon. It is unclear who was the victor of this fight, although Misono Yuta was killed amidst the clash.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
It was heavily implied that during "Shinjuku Rhapsody", Titamon and a Greymon (Blue) pursued Minervamon when she went to the human world to check up on the Egg of the Great Guardian. Titamon lost track of her, but Greymon followed her into Kabukicho.
After finding the hatched guardian's Digitama in "Truth Born From an Egg", Titamon appears from a gate in space it opened through sheer brute strength. Realizing Minervamon already found the Great Guardian, Titamon attacks Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Aegiomon and Minervamon, the latter fully aware they can't let it go.
Titamon serves as the final boss of the chapter "Truth Born From an Egg". During the fight, it can use basic attacks, Comet Hammer II and Status Barrier. It may also amass energy in its blade for a turn, then attack the entire party with Konpaku Shingeki. He is weak to Fire and Light, and resists Earth and Dark (identical to playable version). He has the "Titan", "Large", "Human" and "God" genes.
After dealing about 2/3 of its HP in damage to Titamon, the gate it opened goes haywire because it was forced open, though the battle continues.
Unlike other battles in the game, the player is not required to win against Titamon. If either him or the party is defeated, Minervamon will attack Titamon in a cutscene, forcing it into the gate, which then sucks up Minervamon, followed by the rest of the party.
After the party repels the Titan invasion in the Guardian Palace, Titamon himself intervenes and knocks out Junomon and attempts to claim Chronomon's Treasure, only for Junomon to hand the treasure over to the protagonist and Misono Inori. She requests them to return to the human world, but she also demanded Aegiomon to stay with him. He refuses, causing Junomon to lash out and accidentally transport a massive Titan army into the human world alongside the party out of a fit of rage and jealousy. Titamon was amongst one of the Titans dragged into the human world. There, Titamon encountered a Skull Baluchimon and befriended it off-screen, turning him into Titamon + Skull Baluchimon.
After the party aids the government in controlling the chaos in "The Defense of Nishi-Shinjuku", they go in front of the government building as they had finally found the Treasure. However, before they can grab it, Titamon + Skull Baluchimon appears and obtains the Treasure first. He then crushes it, absorbing its power, though he feels something is wrong. Aegiochusmon immediately realizes the only way to get the Treasure back is to fight Titamon.
Titamon + Skull Baluchimon serves as the final boss of the chapter "The Defense of Nishi-Shinjuku". Apart from normal attacks, it can use Idle Bubble, Venom Trap, Attack Charge, Guard Break, Mental Break, Shadow Fang II, Comet Hammer II, and a modified version of Senjin Kishinzan that hits the entire party (which he always uses after Attack Charge). It has three actions per turn and is the first boss who can take three actions by default in the game.
Several cutscenes play during the fight as Titamon's health lowers:
- The Operator tells the Agent that they may have changed history for the worse, with the Shinjuku Inferno happening far earlier than in the original timeline, as it was impossible that the amount of destruction that happened was ignored by history.
- Titamon criticizes Skull Baluchimon for being scared of its enemies.
- Inori realizes the Agent is in pain, though can't understand the Agent's fear of changing the timeline for the worse. The Agent then explains to Inori and Aegiochusmon that they come from the future and about the Shinjuku Inferno.
- Inori points out nothing can surprise her anymore, and Aegiochusmon realizes that their goal was to change the future. Inori then convinces the Agent to trust in them.
After Titamon's first health bar is depleted, Titamon + Skull Baluchimon is defeated. Skull Baluchimon perishes and Titamon falls to his knee, hurt. Aegiochusmon demands he returns the Treasure but Titamon refuses to, crushing it in his hand with a red glow. Claiming everything is as Plutomon said, the power of Chronomon flows into Titamon, evolving him into Berserk Titamon.
As Berserk Titamon, apart from normal attacks, he can use Attack Charge, Shadow Fang III and Soul Fear III. He has one less action per turn. If his CP gauge is three or above and he is attacked at least once, Berserk Titamon will seemingly charge power in his blade, but instead of actually charging an attack, he uses a move that inflicts around 90% fixed damage and Injury to the entire party in an attack so fast, no one realized what was happening. This attack cannot be prevented, reflected, or blocked by type affinities. He will then follow it up with other attacks, ensuring that he will claim at least one kill.
The Operator then offers to analyze the situation while the Agent keeps fighting. After this, Berserk Titamon will greatly slow down, allowing the party some recovery time, as he'll do it again the next turn. The Operator then calls the Agent again, explaining that Berserk Titamon could stop time thanks to the Treasure's power and the Agent should use Monica Simmons' Mini EM Net Generator just before he does it again. This is effective, not only stopping the attack but also Titamon himself due to the shock. Nonetheless, Titamon decides to keep fighting, now with no cheap tricks, and buffs all of his stats up. He also adds Magic Reflect to his moveset.
After dealing most of Berserk Titamon's health in damage, the Operator will call the Agent again to warn him of a minor space-time distortion coming their way caused by the conflict between Digimon. With Inori terrified of what may happen to Shinjuku, Aegiochusmon apologises for the danger Digimon have brought but Inori tells him not to because she held no grudge against Digimon and refused to feel hatred for anything but conflict itself. Afterwards, the battle OST will change and Berserk Titamon will charge power in his sword, but unlike the previous time, it is a standard charged attack that can be interrupted by attacking Berserk Titamon (Twin Blades). If the player fails to do so in two turns, Berserk Titamon will use a modified version Senjin Kishinzan that affects the entire party.
Berserk Titamon's boss behavior is directly tied to him using the Time-stop attack, which does not trigger unless he is directly attacked at least once. Therefore, if the player does not directly attack Berserk Titamon at all (usually by using nothing but Attack Reflect or non-damaging moves in-battle), only the HP threshold-based exchange between Inori and Aegiochusmon will trigger and Berserk Titamon will be stuck attacking normally, even if his CP gauge reaches maximum or his HP gets low.
Berserk Titamon cannot be killed before the HP threshold-based exchange between Inori and Aegiochusmon triggers; if the player depletes his entire HP bar from full health, he will remain at 1 HP and the aforementioned cutscene will trigger, followed by Berserk Titamon retaliating with the fake charging move. The scene where the Operator calls for Yuki will then play out, followed by the player's turn where they can either finish off Berserk Titamon or use the EM Net Generator.
Titamon has two visible health bars, with one representing his Titamon + Skull Baluchimon phase and the other his Berserk Titamon phase. Unlike the playable version, Titamon + Skull Baluchimon's affinities are completely different; he has no weaknesses, blocks Dark and resists Steel and Earth, and has the "Titan", "Medium", "Evil" and "God" genes. Berserk Titamon is weak to Light and Fire, resists Earth and blocks Dark. He has the "Titan", "Large", "Human" and "God" genes, the same ones as when he was first fought. Berserk Titamon (Twin Blades) is weak to Electricity and Null, and resists Metal.
In the Super Ultimate difficulty, both of Titamon's forms gain an extra action per turn. Furthermore, as the player cannot use any items, the EM Net Generator will be placed automatically without any input from the player after Berserk Titamon uses his fake charged attack.
After defeating Berserk Titamon, the power of the Treasure goes out of control, releasing a massive red light that destroyed the Shinjuku Government Building and created a Digital Gate atop of it, setting stone for the tragedies that lead up to the end of the world by the apocalyptic event known as the "Shinjuku Inferno".
The next eight years following Titamon's death, the government encircled the ruins of the Government Building where he died and the treasure exploded in with the Wall of Hope. Furthermore, with most of Iliad's guardians killed or rendered incompetent after the first Titan invasion, more and more Digimon began to flood towards the human world from there, and it became extremely difficult to control the situation. Further exacerbated by Titan Ranamon tricking and grievously injuring Public Security head Kuremi Kodai during the attack proper, the government formed D-SAT in hopes of isolating and eventually killing all Digimon.
Some time within the 8-year timeskip, Titamon was reborn as a Tunomon (referred to as Tunomon (Titamon) in-game) because of the Treasure's remaining power. His Skull Baluchimon steed was also reborn as a Dorimon. They were imprisoned by Junomon, but Tyrant Kabuterimon and Witchmon appeared to free them, having been ordered by Plutomon to do so. The protagonist meets them alongside several Titan remnants while trying to save Junomon and cooperates with them to free all the imprisoned Digimon within the Guardian Palace and distract a Clavis Angemon acting as the prison warden. After escaping from said Clavis Angemon and separating from Apollomon and Dianamon, Tunomon and Dorimon join the party, with Titamon sharing the Agent their knowledge on how to compromise the Guardian Palace's prison system. Tunomon and Dorimon both join as level 55 Digimon alongside Witchmon, with Tunomon having the Comet Hammer I and Dorimon having the Wolkenapalm I Attachment Skills. Once the protagonist frees Minervamon and escapes to confront Junomon, Tunomon vows that he will destroy the Agent the next time they meet before parting off.
The duo recovers their Titamon + Skull Baluchimon form before the "Hey!! Brat!! You've come!!" round of the "Greatest Omega Carnival" side mission, seemingly to fulfill their promise for a final fight with the Agent. While Etemon is shocked to see Titamon there, Titamon himself just wants to get the fight done quickly. After being defeated, Titamon + Skull Baluchimon is unable to remain in that form and devolves to Tunomon (still referred to as "Tunomon (Titamon)" in-game) and Dorimon, though he boasts he's still strong enough to win in that form.
- Titamon + Skull Baluchimon can use normal attacks, Venom Trap, Mental Break and very rarely, Senjin Kishinzan. He keeps the same weaknesses and resistances as before.
- Tunomon (Titamon) can use Comet Hammer III, Awa and an unnamed Earth attack that shows the time-stop animation before he executes it. He is weak to Plant, and resists Steel and Null.
- Dorimon can use normal attacks, Attack Field, Guard Break and Metal Drop. He is weak to Plant, Earth and Wind, and resists Fire and Electricity.
