Misono Yuta is Misono Inori's younger brother. He died to a Digimon attack three years prior to the beginning of Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The Digimon Story: Time Stranger Prelude short tells the events leading to his death in his own point of view.

Yuta is a big fan of Agent Alpha and apparently owned at least 2 Agent Alpha posters which are stuck on the walls of the Misono Household.
He is reckless and likes to run away on his own if something catches his attention.
According to Inori in the game proper, Yuta used to be bullied a lot.
He is only known by his nickname "Yuu" or "yuu-chan" in the game proper and his full name is only revealed in Digimon Story: Time Stranger Prelude.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger Prelude[edit]
3 years ago prior to the events of Digimon Story: Time Stranger, Yuta and his mother went to watch an Agent Alpha movie that his sister Misono Inori brought tickets for. When they walked out of the theater, a massive Digital Gate appeared atop of Shinjuku and Aegiomon's Digitama appeared from it, followed by numerous Digimon who instantly began fighting each other and causing mass destruction. Yuta recklessly walked away from his mother towards Aegiomon's Digitama amidst the chaos, where he found and picked it up in a backalley and was attacked by a Kuwagamon, only to be saved by a Revolmon who reminded him of Agent Alpha. Escorted by Revolmon, he tries to escape from the chaos, even knocking out a Goburimon when they were surrounded. Eventually, Yuta's mother was unwittingly killed by a Mugendramon, who then moves onto attacking the duo. With the power of Aegiomon's Digitama and his desire to reunite with his family, Revolmon evolves into Justimon to protect him and defeat the Mugendramon.
In this moment however, Titamon cuts open a gate to the human world and fights Justimon, and Yuta perished in the resulting clash.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
It was heavily implied that the clothes Aegiomon wears in the 8 years ago version of the human world used to be Yuta's.
Yuta appears at the end of the game where Jupitermon, who has taken Chronomon's position in Iliad, alters the timeline so the gate between the human world and Iliad never opened. While out with his sister, Yuta encounters Dan/Kanan and gets excited about their Alpha model phone.

Trivia[edit]
- Yuta shares the same voice actor as Aegiomon in both the original and dub voicetracks, and his hairdo, eyes and body height are roughly the same as Aegiomon's. It is unclear if this is coincidental.
