Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Some time during the timeskip, Central Town was taken over by Titans and Mercurymon, the definitive defensive stronghold of the town, was struck with a poison dark that rendered him impotent. As a result, most of its residents moved into the human world from a Digital Gate under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and holed themselves in a makeshift settlement, waiting to take the town back. Dr. Monica Simmons and Shiroki Asuna also went there after defecting from Public Security out of disgust of their mistreatment against Digimon to help them instead.

The village provides the same services seen in Central Town, while the shops in the original Central Town were replaced by functionally different shops or ones with slightly more expensive products. After present day Shinjuku is re-open for exploration during the main quest "The Destruction of Reason", a Pegasmon who transports the party between Iliad, Rebellion Village and the human world will appear in the settlement.

Following Mercurymon's recovery and the reclaiming of Central Town, Rebellion Village is mostly deserted for the rest of the game. The player may still move between the human and Digital Worlds through Pegasmon.

Near the end of the game, a now-reformed Misono Kosuke and several Digimon used the remains of Rebellion Village as an evacuation center for humans as the Akashic Records started erasing parts of Shinjuku from reality.
