Profile[edit]
Before evolving, Bearmon (Older Brother) can be identified by his more confident and outgoing personality and his eyes, which appeared to be more confident-looking. Personality-wise, Bearmon (Older Brother) is bossy, confident and reckless, with a need to stand out and be a hero. He greatly cares for his little brother, enough to sacrifice his own soul to protect him, and is respected by his underling, Solarmon.
After being modified by the Titans into Callismon, he rules over the High-Rise Colosseum through sheer might and terror. Ironically, this also made the Factorial Area a safer and more prosperous place compared to other Titan-occupied zones. He is also driven into a constant berserk state by his augments, although this side of him was never seen following his defeat.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
Bearmon (Older Brother) is the brave and confident older brother of Bearmon (Younger Brother). The two live in Central Town and are known for causing trouble. He's also the boss of Solarmon.
Bearmon (Older Brother) was first seen goading Coronamon into following them into the sewers to fight the Titans rumored to be down there (Orgemon, Fugamon and Hyougamon), only for the two to be quickly defeated. His younger brother requested Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Misono Inori, Aegiomon and Minervamon to save his elder brother and Coronamon. The party arrives to the bottom of the sewers, defeats the Titans and saves the two Digimon.
During the side missions "A Delayed Return" and "The Trial", Bearmon (Older Brother) sent Solarmon to get a Parrotmon plume. Thanks to the Agent, it succeeded in the latter, which got it Big Bearmon's respect. Afterwards, they wanted to ride Blimpmon in the side mission "Platinum Numemon's Jewelry" so they sought Platinum Numemon's treasure. However, at first they mistook three Geremon for Platinum Numemon and sent the Agent to fight them, getting nothing but glass from it. After the Agent defeated the proper Platinum Numemon and got its treasure, Big Bearmon traded it for his Aura, then took Blimpmon.
The Bearmons wanted to hunt for Titans in Gear Forest in the side mission "The Mighty Bearmon Brothers". However, the Agent had already defeated the Titans in that area. Bearmon (Older Brother) refused to believe it and ran away on his own, so Bearmon (Younger Brother) asked them for help in fighting the remains of the Titans in the area. After the Agent and the younger brother defeated Minotaurmon, an old leader of the Titans, they teamed up with the older brother to fight a Greymon. After defeating Greymon, the brothers made a pact to reunite if they ever separated, and buried it in the World Tree. Their adventures would become legends in the Digital World: Iliad, reaching at least one other pair of brothers (the Drimogemon brothers) who took them as their inspiration.
Some time between the 8 years after the Titans attacked the human world, the brothers are separated in a successful invasion against Central Town. Bearmon (Older Brother) survived the attack and, in exchange for the Titans agreeing to spare his younger brother, he agreed to let his body be modified by them. Eventually, he evolved into Callismon. He was then put in charge of the High-Rise Colosseum in the Factorial Area, becoming the undisputed champion and ruling through force.
In the original timeline, as the party went out to meet Sagisaka Hiroko before they could convince Grappu Leomon, the evolved form of Bearmon's younger brother, to cooperate with them, they failed to put him in check and he went to confront Callismon in the arena alone. Grappu Leomon's recklessness became his undoing, as he tries to talk to Callismon, only for his elder brother to go berserk and kill Grappu Leomon while attacking the audience. This prevents Marsmon from emerging, which would cause Aegiomon to collide with the Giant Slayer unchecked to protect Inori, destroying the entire world with the outburst.
The party eventually returns back to the Colosseum moments prior to his death and turns down Hiroko to convince Grappu Leomon to go confront Callismon with them. Together, they went to the Factorial Area and battled in the High-Rise Arena to reach Callismon. Upon defeating their last opponent, Callismon bursts into the arena and Grappu Leomon attempts to appeal to him, but Callismon goes berserk and attacks them.
Callismon is the final boss of "The Paradise Colosseum", fought immediately after the Saikyo KoGals. This is considered to be a separate fight from the previous, so the party's HP/SP and stat changes are reset between the fights. He has three actions per turn and apart from normal attacks, he can use Crush Blade III, Soul Fear III, Ripping Net and Deep Forest. When Callismon starts charging, Callismon (Gun) becomes targettable. If not stopped after two turns, Callismon will use Rodeo Bullet.
Callismon is extremely weak to Fire, weak to Null, and resists Ice and Metal (same as playable version). Callismon (Gun) is weak to Water and Lightning; resists Plant, Ice, Earth, Wind and Light; and is immune to Fire and Null. It has the Medium, Machine and Beast genes. Just like several other in-game bosses, despite being a Titan story-wise, it lacks the Titan gene.
Callismon's gimmick is that if he is damaged to an extent, he will obtain a permanent buff to his stats. The first time this happens, Callismon's attack is raised by 30% and Aegiomon will point out how strong Callismon is, and how he seemingly gets stronger the more he's hurt. Afterwards, short cutscenes of Callismon powering up will then play at certain HP intervals, all followed by permanent boosts. The second time this occurs, Callismon's attack becomes raised by 50% and his critical hit rate is increased by 10%. This is followed by a 30% boost to defense and critical hit rate and maximized Attack buffs. At low HP, Callismon's Attack and Critical hit rate have maxed buffs, his defense is increased by 50% and his Spirit is buffed by 30% as well.
After Callismon is reduced to half HP, Grappu Leomon tries to appeal to him again. Callismon briefly returns to his senses and explains he was given a deal: if he allowed himself to be modified, the Titans wouldn't hurt his little brother. He then goes berserk again as Grappu Leomon blames himself for his brother's state. Inori refutes his guilt, stating that this is the proof of Callismon's love for him, a feeling she knows all too well, and Callismon would be the most hurt if anything happened to Grappu Leomon. The Agent and Inori then encourage Grappu Leomon to get up again for his brother's sake. This causes Grappu Leomon to evolve into Marsmon. Callismon cannot be defeated until this scene plays out; if the player tries to defeat Callismon instantly from full HP, the scene will play out and Callismon will continue to stack his buffs at 1 HP and attack until the player gets a turn.
In the Super Ultimate difficulty, Callismon gains an extra action per turn.
With Marsmon dealing the final blow, Callismon is defeated. Near-dead, Callismon returns to his senses and asks his brother to make sure that other Digimon don't turn out like he did before seemingly dying.
Callismon reappeared in "The Final Battle over the Natural Order" after Marsmon attempted to have the Agent, Inori and Aegiomon run away from endless copies from the Akashic Records on Pegasmon, to Marsmon's surprise. Callismon told him to leave the sentimental reunion for later however as the enemy was changing their formation, with two Chimairamon and two Mugendramon performing Jogress into a pair of Millenniumon. The reunited Bearmon Brothers then joined the Agent in facing the Demon and Millenniumon copies. During this fight, Callismon can use Acceleration Boost and Rodeo Bullet.
After the fight, Marsmon was still incredulous that the Digimon in front of him truly was his older brother. Callismon confirmed he was and that he was proud of Marsmon. Callismon explained Venusmon had treated him and never gave up on him, although he wasn't fully healed yet. Callismon explained once again that Chronomon had fused with the Akashic Records so enemies would endlessly come after them, so he'd stay and hold them back while the rest continued, as payback for them saving him. Marsmon, however, was angry at Callismon just giving up on his life even if he saw it as penance for killing many in the arena. Marsmon angrily stated he had worked hard on his own so he wouldn't need to be protected by his brother anymore, so he wouldn't take any orders from him either. Therefore, he would stay back and watch Callismon's back. However, unlike Callismon, he was determined to see both of them live. Several more copies then appeared and Callismon accepted his little brother's wish.
On Ceresmon's back, Marsmon explained Callismon had used up all his strength and was resting now so the older brother had entrusted the younger one with beating Chronomon up. Callismon's belief in Marsmon's strength gave him confidence.
