Digimon Adventure[edit]
Jyureimon was a minion of the Dark Master Pinochimon who turned Ishida Yamato against the other Chosen Children. Pinochimon killed him when he said that the Chosen Children had something that Pinochimon was lacking, friends.
Digimon Adventure 02[edit]
A Jyureimon went wild in New York, but Motomiya Daisuke, Tachikawa Mimi and the American Chosen Children worked together to pacify it. Lilimon used her Flow' Cannon to calm it down, and then the Chosen Children returned it to the Digital World.
Digimon Tamers[edit]
A group of Woodmon evolved into Jyureimon due to Culumon's evolutionary powers.
Digimon Frontier[edit]
Jyureimon guarded the wood element sphere of Sephirothmon. Shibayama Junpei spirit evolved into Blitzmon to battle him and defeated him.
Digimon Savers[edit]
A Jyureimon guarded a misty forest and risked his life to protect the Digimon there, including a group of Nyokimon.
Digimon Adventure:[edit]
After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Lopmon, on top of a Jyureimon, with both the red and his gray Komondomon sleeping behind them, told a group of Budmon and Woodmon how the world where humans live was beyond the sky, past the Network, and that was where the Chosen Children came from. Woodmon then asked if it was to protect them, but Leomon, who was with a Bearmon, several yellow and a rare Pickmon, and two Yukimi Botamon, thought that they came to the Digital World to become their friends. One of the Yukimi Botamon was confused about this, and Leomon clarified that they fought in order to protect their friends, which made the Yukimi Botamon want to go to the Real World. The Yukimi Botamon then asked Leomon what happened to the Chosen Children after that, and Leomon answered that they finished their mission and returned to the Real World, and would no longer go back to the Digital World, though he corrected himself on that since it may happen after all.
Digimon Ghost Game[edit]
In "The Maneater's Forest", Jyureimon brings the urban legend of the Goddess Kasumi to life by capturing and eating humans to become stronger in a forest ruled by Mori Shellmon. Tesla Jellymon, Symbare Angoramon, and Betel Gammamon defeated it by chopping off its upper right arm. Angered by this, Jyureimon swore his revenge while retreating.

Digimon World[edit]
In the Misty Trees region, a thick fog covers the land and prohibits passage into Toy Town and Freezeland. Tonosama Gekomon grants minor protection from the fog to the Player, but only by meeting Jyureimon can the fog be made completely passable. Jyureimon is a remarkably wise, intelligent Digimon who offers to teach the Player and his partner. Choosing a partner will initiate the "Teachings of the Forest" training, which boosts intelligence and MP. If the Player chooses to listen himself, Jyureimon reveals a great deal of information that, while it isn't necessary to progress, illuminates some of the mystery surrounding the memory crisis.

Digimon Adventure[edit]
Jyureimon showed himself to Ishida Yamato as he travelled through a frozen area in Episode 53, "Clash! The Ultimate Digimon". Gabumon immediately realized he worked for Pinochimon, and while Jyureimon didn't intend to fight, Yamato had no intention of listening to him.
Jyureimon is the 60th obligatory boss of the game, fighting Gabumon in Episode 53, "Clash! The Ultimate Digimon". He can deal multiple hits with Cherry Bomb, deal damage with Tsuta Kougeki, and deal damage and lower attack to all the party with Illusion Mist. After being defeated, he drops an ATK↓ Chip Ω.
Afterwards, Jyureimon explained he wasn't there for a fight. He repeated Yamato's questions about himself, and told him to sit down and take a look into himself. He refused to say if he did or didn't listen to Yamato previously, as there was nothing he didn't know. Yamato asked him what he should do and Jyureimon told him to improve himself if he wanted to be stronger, for which he needed resolve. As Yamato confirmed he had resolve, Jyureimon told him to defeat his rival. However, Yamato just laughed at this, as he never thought of Yagami Taichi as his rival, but Jyureimon pointed out that everything Taichi said and did bothered him, and as long as he didn't overcome those thoughts, he couldn't become stronger. Jyureimon ordered Yamato to fight Taichi so he would shake off his uncertain heart and be reborn. Gabumon tried to stop Yamato, reminding him that Taichi was his friend, which seemingly got to Yamato, but Jyureimon kept insisting, saying that friendship was an illusion, which Yamato couldn't deny. With Yamato now uncertain of what to do and why he was given the Crest of Friendship, Gabumon decided to trust and follow Yamato even if it meant making everyone his enemy, then Warp Evolved into Metal Garurumon and they both left. With them gone, Jyureimon confirmed to Pinochimon that his strategy was successful, a strategy to make War Greymon and Metal Garurumon fight each other. Pinochimon found this amusing and wanted to see it himself. Jyureimon told him to be careful of the Chosen Children, as even he would lose if he underestimated them, because they had something he lacked. This greatly angered Pinochimon, who killed Jyureimon in response.
After his defeat to the Chosen Children in Episode 55, "Pursuit! Defeat Pinochimon!", Pinochimon remembered Jyureimon's words, but once again ignored them and fled. As he laid defeated from Metal Garurumon's Cocytus Breath, Pinochimon remembered Jyureimon once again, asking him what he was missing, then finally died.
Pinochimon and Jyureimon serve as the mid-bosses of the optional Digital Dungeon: ζ, where they fight the Chosen Children together. Defeating them grants the player two Meats and a Life Saver Kit.
Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]
An old Jyureimon, grandfather of the Budmon/Woodmon in the Village of Beginnings, is in Ancient Bone Swamp. It wants to spend the time it has left making its home a better place for everyone, so it's planting all kinds of seeds as it doesn't know what's better for that terrain. It asks Taiga for mushroom spores, as it hadn't planted those yet. After Taiga gives it Glowing Spores, Jyureimon plants them, and expects them to bloom by the next day. Sadly, the spores fail to bloom, and Jyureimon knew it would not live to see them do so. It asks Taiga to come back and see if they bloom later, before finally dying. Nonetheless, said spores would eventually bloom into a massive mushroom that would become Jyureimon's Observatory.
