Also known as the "Digimon Dynamo", this Mutation Digimon is conjectured to be a member of the Mamemon-species. Its tiny body has the properties of a magnet, and is always clad in electricity and discharging lightning. When under enemy attack, it fires spheres of discharged electricity at as much as 10 MV towards them (Thunder Ball).

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

A Thunderballmon attacks Digmon without a reason in "Armored Ankylomon of The Earth", after which Digmon devolves into Armadimon and evolves into Ankylomon to fight Thunderballmon. However, Stingmon suddenly appears and kills Thunderballmon. It is later revealed that it was a Dark Tower Digimon.

Two Thunderballmon are part of Wisemon's investigative team, as shown in "The Mystery Hidden Within the Crests". They're shown escaping from the Tree of Knowledge as it was attacked by the swarm of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination", alongside several more Thunderballmon, groups of Bokomon, Dogmon and Ekakimon, and Pucchiemon.

Digimon Seekers ~Wall Slum's Nightmare~[edit]

In Episode 1, Loogamon wanted to go back on patrol after stopping a Deltamon and Dark Tyranomon, but Thunderballmon (Loogamon's underling Nº6) riding on Tyranomon (Loogamon's underling Nº3) showed up, with the former telling their boss they couldn't find Nº8 (Dogmon) or Nº9 (Espimon). Loogamon ordered them to keep looking.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]

Thunderballmon appears in Junk City's Battle Café after the credits roll. Upon being talked, he'll open Junk City's third Battle Arena, in which he serves as the first opponent. After entering it, he tells the Player that he opened the Battle Arena so everyone could enjoy Card Battles. Thunderballmon plays the Blitzkrieg deck, a Yellow/Rare deck with 2 attack, 3 defense and 3 evolution speed that has strong Discard and Crash effects.

Thunderballmon is also an obtainable Level IV Rarity Card with 710 HP, 350 Circle Attack, 300 Triangle Attack, 0 Cross Attack with Cross Counter effect. Its Support Effect discards all opponent's card in hand if their attack is Cross. Thunderballmon's attacks are Thunder Ball, Thunder Bomber and Intercept Bomb.
