English[edit]

  • Ken's conversation with the mysterious woman differs in tone between the two versions. In the Japanese version, he is unsure what to make of things, while in the dub, he is much ruder and yells at her.
  • Iori makes a pun about Digmon's drills in the dub.
  • The dub adds in a line from Hikari about painting, even though her cheerful delivery of this line does not match the sullen look on her face in the following shot.
  • The village that the group is fixing up is inexplicably referred to as "Primary Village" in the dub, despite not looking anything like it.
  • The dub once again changes banter between the kids into making fun of Daisuke.
  • The dub removes everyone chanting for ohagi.
  • Iori's grandfather's Chu-Chu Jelly is referred to as "liquid yogurt" in the dub.
  • Iori's shouts of "Men!" during his kendo practice are removed in the dub.
  • The dub changes the book that Hikari and Tailmon are reading into a book of fairy tales. The Japanese version does not specify what the book is about, as it only shows pictures of castles.
  • The sound of a Punimon defecating is removed from the dub, and Daisuke's reaction to it is rewritten to be about something else.
  • Thunderballmon is changed to "Thundermon".
