An Ultimate Insect Digimon that evolved with the data of Kabuterimon- and Kuwagamon-species Digimon. It has a gigantic horn and scissors, and it can be said that its form perfectly compensates for the weaknesses of those two types of Digimon, which had opposing natures. Its body shines gold, and it has regained and strengthened the flying ability which Atlur Kabuterimon had lost, so it rushes about the Digital World at supersonic speed. Having now accomplished this Ultimate evolution, there are probably few beings who can rival Herakle Kabuterimon. Its Special Move is an enhanced version of "Mega Blaster" (Giga Blaster). There isn't anyone who won't be annihilated by this technique.

Herakle Kabuterimon is Izumi Koshiro's Partner Digimon.

He first appears in the past as a silhouette during the ancient war and appears again in "Operation Satellite Sniper" as a figure superimposed on that of Atlur Kabuterimon. It is in this form that he hijacks the fall of the satellite by destroying the data corrupted by Zurumon.

Tentomon finally fully takes this form in "Bolt, Herakle Kabuterimon", after Koshiro realized that their friendship is knowledge, which also caused his Digivice: to project the Crest of Knowledge. In this form, he was able to easily defeat Gran Kuwagamon and Nanomon, releasing the latter from the Soundbirdmons' control.

Voice Actor: Japanese Sakurai Takahiro

Herakle Kabuterimon is Izumi Koshiro's Partner Digimon.

After the Chosen Children returned to Subspace from the sea of data in Episode 62, "The Final Dark Digimon", they were taken by a strange light into a new area with six coloured doors, and a seventh door between them with a chain of each colour. Behind the red door, the Chosen Children found Mugendramon. Koshiro asked Yagami Taichi to leave it to him and Tentomon as they would not lose to any kind of Machine Digimon. Koshiro's Knowledge flowed into Tentomon's heart, letting him warp evolve into Herakle Kabuterimon for the first time.

Afterwards, he can evolve in-battle by paying 30 SP from Tentomon, 25 SP from Kabuterimon, or 15 SP from Atlur Kabuterimon, or start the battle as such by equipping the EVO Boost III DigiPiece. Herakle Kabuterimon's attacks are:

  • Giga Blaster: deals damage to one enemy. Costs 26 SP.
  • High Mega Blaster: deals damage to all enemies. Costs 32 SP.
  • Horn Buster Kai: deals damage to one enemy with a good chance of Shock. Costs 8 SP.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

A Herakle Kabuterimon and a duo of Kuwagamon who intended to bully Examon because they were bigger showed up in the Abyss Area after Examon started returning to its original size in the side mission "The Call of the Unseen". Venusmon recognized them as remnants of the Titans and ordered them to leave but Herakle Kabuterimon refused and even threatened them with more of their kin showing up. Examon was not scared and, in fact, wanted to make them pay, even if it meant fighting in its smaller form and far from full strength. Venusmon thanked it and decided to join the fight as well.

The Herakle Kabuterimon/Kuwagamon/Kuwagamon trio is the boss of the side mission "The Call of the Unseen".

Herakle Kabuterimon is also an obtainable Digimon. It can be scanned in Gear Forest. It evolves from Atlur Kabuterimon (Red), Okuwamon, or Jewelbeemon.
