A Holy Knight Digimon based on a legend that only appears within a certain "Prophecy", handed down from the ancient Digital World. In that "Prophecy" is written the appearance of the "Royal Knights", the guardian deities of the Network, and based on the "Prophecy", it is said that the Digimon that are called the "Royal Knights" will assemble at the time of the Digital World's greatest crisis. Ulforce V-dramon possesses the swiftest speed among the "Royal Knights", and there is no one that can follow its movements. Also, its body is wrapped in holy armor made of the lightest rare metal "Blue Chrondigizoit", which is rare even among Chrome Digizoid, so it can cleave the sky and split the earth. It can extend weapons and a shield from the "V Bracelets" equipped to both of its arms. Its Special Move is a beam which strafes across from the "V"-shaped armor on its chest (Shining V-Force).

Live Action[edit]

Digimon Project 2021[edit]

In VITAL BRACELET Lab, an overlay with Ulforce V-dramon's data appears in the eponymous Vital Bracelet Lab, alongside many other data overlays, in front of Palmon and its Tamer. It hides the OPEN THE GATE? overlay that triggers Black War Greymon's Raid Boss Battle alongside a Koromon overlay.

Manga[edit]

Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]

Zeromaru is Yagami Taichi's Partner Digimon. After he apparently killed himself overusing Dragon Impulse as Aero V-dramon against Arkadimon Super Ultimate in "The Super Ultimate Appears!", he reformed and evolved into Ulforce V-dramon thanks to gaining the Ulforce in "Holy Light, Ulforce".

Digimon Xros Wars[edit]

Zeromaru appears in "Xros Memories!! The Boys' Old Days" of the manga as a Royal Knight, in his Ulforce V-dramon form. He was blinded by Tactimon, but after spending time in Kudou Taiki's Xros Loader he recovered. His squires are Spadamon, Coronamon and Lunamon. They were trapped in the human world when the Digital World shattered into Zones, and were not able to return until accompanying Taiki. When they return, Ulforce V-dramon is reunited with the remaining Royal Knights and fights in the battle against Lilithmon's army.

Hiragana Digimon: A Tale of the Royal Knights[edit]

Ulforce V-dramon makes a cameo in the title page of Episode 1 alongside the rest of the Royal Knights.

Ulforce V-dramon makes a proper appearance in Episode 3. He arrived in "Ulforce V-dramon", with full knowledge of Wanyamon's search for the Royal Knights autographs. He then wrote one down and told Wanyamon to ask him for as many as he wanted. Wanyamon was glad Ulforce V-dramon was so nice but Dynasmon couldn't handle him. Ulforce V-dramon asked Dynasmon why he was so worked up and told him not to overthink things and to enjoy life, then told Wanyamon he could join the Royal Knights if he tried, which rubbed Dynasmon the wrong way. Then, in "Eternal Child", Dynasmon called Ulforce V-dramon out for following Yggdrasill's orders without thinking. However, Ulforce V-dramon said that depended on the occasion, as his beliefs were those of the himself in the moment, so he'd do what the himself of the moment believed best. Wanyamon thought that was cool but Dynasmon hated him. Finally, in "How to Catch a Dragonfly", as Ulforce V-dramon and Wanyamon danced, Dynasmon wondered how the former could be so carefree yet still have such an unwavering sense of justice. Dynasmon compared Ulforce V-dramon to a dragonfly, which gave him an idea, so he asked Wanyamon if he wanted to try catching a dragonfly, which Wanyamon agreed to do. Dynasmon then sent Ulforce V-dramon to get Examon's autograph, which meant he got caught in Examon's mass as well. Dynasmon then told Wanyamon to observe the "fly" (Gran Kuwagamon) and the "beetle" (Ulforce V-dramon) as much as he wanted, while Wanyamon wondered when they'd get Examon's autograph.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]

Ulforce V-dramon is one of the Royal Knights. Yggdrasill sends Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan to find them and get them to their rendezvous point in Central Town in the side mission "Royal Knights, Assemble!".

The Agent meets Ulforce V-dramon in the Abyss Depths in the side mission "The Worthy". He wanted to see Neptunemon's Blue Digizoid armour but didn't know how to talk to him about it, so the Agent offered to do it for him. Despite that, Ulforce V-dramon was the one to talk to Neptunemon about how to repair his armour. Neptunemon explained he had access to a vein of Chrondigizoit ore thanks to Jumbo Gamemon, who proudly stated it found it. Ulforce V-dramon asked Neptunemon for some of it but Neptunemon refused as it was a rare material which couldn't be given to just anybody. Ulforce V-dramon realized that meant he had to prove his worthiness in battle. Neptunemon acknowledged fighting in the ocean would give him too much of an advantage and asked the Agent to join the Royal Knight as partners, though Ulforce V-dramon denied they were and didn't want anyone's help. The Agent convinced him to accept Neptunemon's terms. During the fight, Ulforce V-dramon can use Saint Knuckle III and Shining V-Force.

The fight convinced Neptunemon of Ulforce V-dramon's honesty and he shared with him the Chrondigizoit to repair his armour. He then asked Jumbo Gamemon to go to the Factorial Area to have the ore processed. Jumbo Gamemon asked Ulforce V-dramon to meet it at Guardromon's place. Ulforce V-dramon wanted to follow it, but Neptunemon asked the Agent to return to him when they could as he had another favour to ask of them.

In the Factorial Area, Ulforce V-dramon confirmed he obtained the Blue Chrondigizoit Metal to repair his armour. He thanked the Agent as he wouldn't have been able to show Neptunemon how serious he was on his own, then left for the rendezvous point.

All 13 Royal Knights showed up in an Outer Dungeon to save the Agent and Sagisaka Hiroko from Mugendramon in the side mission "An Odd Letter". Omegamon explained they had felt an enormous power and rushed to their aid, though they couldn't all fight in such a small space so they allowed the Agent to choose who'd help them.

All the Royal Knights showed up to fight Chronomon, destroying his Kotowari no Kyozetsu barrier with a barrage of their signature moves, then left. This was necessary, as said barrier could not be broken by anyone who lived under the rules of Iliad, but the Royal Knights were from another world and the situation was desperate enough to allow them to interfere with the natural order of Iliad.

Ulforce V-dramon is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Aero V-dramon or Cyberdramon. It can Mode Change into Ulforce V-dramon (X-Antibody).

References Notes
  1. BT11-043 (DCG) can turn any Lv.3 or higher Digimon into a Scumon that retains its effects.
  2. This is an oversight in the PS5 and Xbox versions of the game, as the Steam version lacks this evolution route. This is patched in the December 11, 2025 update, and this Digimon can no longer evolve into Parallelmon.
  3. 3.0 3.1 [EX4-072 Digital Translator] no longer applies to this Digimon as of May 29, 2026, as an errata has changed the text of the card to only apply to Dukemon, Sakuyamon, and Saint Galgomon. This means this evolution was only possible between December 23, 2023 (the release of EX-04 Alternative Being) and May 28, 2026.
