DigiFusion (Super Xros Wars)

From Wikimon

DigiFusion (デジフュージョン, Deji Fyūjon) is a special form of DigiXros developed in the LS-tou Zone in Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Blue & Red. It combines Digimon to create a new Digimon through the DigiLab.

Mechanics[edit]

DigiFusion is performed through the DigiLab in Sky Fort's Central Room. Each combination produces a predetermined Digimon and requires its corresponding DigiScore, the appropriate component Digimon, and fulfillment of the conditions displayed for that combination.

The resulting Digimon becomes part of the player's army. The player can choose which techniques it retains from the available selection.

DigiScores can be recovered by restoring Condenser Towers or obtained by defeating wild Digimon. They provide access to additional DigiFusion combinations.

DigiFusion is distinct from Jogress Up, which strengthens a main Digimon while preserving its species, and from the DigiXros command used during battles to perform powerful attacks.

Story[edit]

After the first Condenser Tower is reactivated, Spadamon retrieves DigiScores from a newly accessible folder in the Data Library and explains DigiFusion to Taiki and Shoutmon. It describes the process as a special type of DigiXros developed independently in the LS-tou Zone.

According to Spadamon, Sky Fort once held all DigiScores, but the interruption of its energy supply also damaged the backup, leaving only a few available. Restoring the towers allows further data to be recovered.
