Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Blue & Red
Minervamon is one of the leaders of the ROG Organization operating in the LS-tou Zone. It also belongs to "Team Cute ❤", a group devoted to all things cute, whose members include Piccolomon and Ex-Tyranomon.
In Roundabout Amazon, it befriends a Chibickmon that has wandered away from Xros Heart. Although the others fear that Chibickmon has been kidnapped, it enjoys Minervamon's company. Minervamon declares it a member of Team Cute and teaches it to add "nya" to its speech, as well as to smile when facing difficulties.
Taiki and his companions follow the pair through whirlpools and underground passages to Flower Meadow. There, Chibickmon explains that Minervamon has not mistreated it and expresses its affection for it. Minervamon likewise says that it enjoyed their time together, tells Chibickmon to return home, and suggests that they play again if they meet.
Minervamon leaves Chibickmon with the group before their battle with Spinomon. It also entrusts Chibickmon with a key to Roundabout Amazon and a message concerning Cutemon, prompting the group to continue searching for Cutemon and Dorulumon.
In the eastern part of Roundabout Amazon, Minervamon holds Cutemon hostage through Piccolomon and Ex-Tyranomon, forcing Dorulumon to fight Taiki and his companions and help capture Spadamon. After Xros Heart defeats Minervamon and Dorulumon, it orders its subordinates to withdraw. Cutemon is released, and Dorulumon subsequently becomes available to join the army at Sky Fort.
Xros Heart encounters Minervamon again in the western part of Crystal Volcano. Before the battle, Taiki appeals to its affection for Chibickmon and suggests that it could live peacefully with the Zone's inhabitants. Minervamon refuses and fights alongside Piccolomon and Ex-Tyranomon.
After its defeat, Minervamon recalls precious companions it lost in battle and explains that Team Cute's rule of smiling through adversity was a promise they shared. Taiki and his companions remind it of those former friends.
When the dark shadow of Barbamon demands its "Agility" data, Minervamon accepts in accordance with their agreement. It dismisses the legendary weapon and predicts that Taiki and his companions will eventually defeat ROG. Barbamon then absorbs it as part of the preparations to revive Armamon.
