Andiramon (Deva)

From Wikimon

For the Virus version, see Andiramon.

One of the "Deva Digimon", it is a Perfect Digimon with a form resembling the Rabbit. As a follower of the Four Holy Beasts Digimon Qinglongmon, it is the owner of a gentle spirit. It likes small things, and because it attends to them with profound tenderness, if anything appears that tries to tread on them then its personality is completely reversed, and it attacks with the Bǎo Fǔ which transformed its hands into razor-sharp axes. Once a cut is made, it won't stop spreading until the enemy's form is no more. Its Special Move is spinning like a tornado with its body as the axis, cutting anything surrounding it with the Bǎo Fǔ on its hands (Asipatravana).[1]

Digimon Tamers[edit]

Andiramon is the Partner Digimon of Lee Shaochung. While playing in the park, Shaochung was drawn into a digital gate and transported to the Digital World near the Southern Gate in Zhuqiaomon's domain. There, she met Andiramon who was on guard duty. He played with her until he was exhausted. When Makuramon attacked Shaochung, Andiramon protected her and chased him off. For his treachery, Zhuqiaomon took away his powers, causing him to devolve into a Lopmon and he became Shaochung's partner.

Digimon Survive[edit]

Andiramon is the Partner Kemonogami of Kayama Shuuji. At any point from Part 5 onwards in the Truth route, while training together, Shuuji and Lopmon are attacked by a Kabuterimon; since Shuuji is too exhausted from their training to flee, Lopmon, despite also being exhausted, stands his ground, but the Kabuterimon is too strong for him. This causes Shuuji's lack of confidence to resurface, as he accuses himself of being unable to anything and therefore unable to win anyone's approval as he is, despite how he sought his own before. Lopmon points out how, no matter how low he fell, he'd always believe in him. Shuuji puts himself between two to save his friend Lopmon, because he cannot give up in the middle of a fight if he was to make Lopmon proud of him. Shuuji's sense of responsibility and resolve causes Lopmon to evolve into Andiramon.

Andiramon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's a Mobility-type, Harmony (Data)-attribute, Perfect-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is Bǎo Fǔ (140 power, 0 SP, deals non-elemental damage to target) and its special attack is Asipatravana (275 power, 45 SP, deals Wind damage to target). Its Passive Skill is Meditation Cure (Restores HP and SP while defending). Andiramon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Andiramon or a Free Andiramon:

  • Partner Andiramon evolves from Turuiemon and can evolve into Cherubimon by clearing specific events.
  • Free Andiramon evolves from Turuiemon and Angemon and can evolve into Seraphimon and Cherubimon by using Ultimate Enlightenment Slabs.
