In "Brave Evolution! XV-mon", Motomiya Daisuke and V-mon accidentally angered a Tortamon by watching it urinate happily. To defeat it, V-mon evolved into XV-mon for the first time.

A Tortamon was among the many Digimon seen through the rip in the sky during Vikaralamon's rampage.

In "The Masaru-Agumon Combo Dissolves?! Squalling Garurumon", a Tortamon appeared within the city. Daimon Masaru and Agumon successfully reverted it to a Digitama, though not before accidentally destroying a building in the process.

In "To the New Continent", several Tortamon attacked the Chosen Children after they arrived at the new continent, seeing them as prey. However, after a fight, they ran away as a Groundramon appeared and ate several of them.
