A Plant Digimon which has an appearance like the sunflower. If it bathes in the sun's light it becomes very energetic, and even its offensive power rises. On days when the weather is good it will also flap the leaves on its back to fly around. Its Special Moves are firing rays of sunlight from all of its petals (Sunshine Beam), and slapping the opponent in the face with a smile on its face (Smiley Slap). Furthermore, that smile is feared for its eeriness. Also, it can wave its tail-like stalk, firing off its thorns (Cactus Tail).

Sunflowmon is the partner of Fujieda Yoshino. She evolves from Lalamon for the first time in "Burn, Digisoul of Anger, The Flymon Hidden in Darkness" to fight a Flymon, but is immobilized by it.

Sunflowmon is an obtainable Digimon which is evolved from Hagurumon, Lalamon, or Tentomon, and can evolve to Angewomon, Holy Angemon, or Lilamon. It can also be obtained as a collectible card. Its card is part of the Lalamon Evolution (ララモン進化 Raramon Shinka) set.

A Sunflowmon is fought in the Colosseum's 1st floor Free Battle: "Bring it!", alongside its Tamer, Kecak.

A Sunflowmon wants to make a Night Flower bloom in the Fluorescent Cave but sunlight won't reach it. To do so, it puts the flower in a pot as a Night Flower Bud and gives it to Taiga so he takes it to a place where the sun shines for three hours. It can't do it itself, since it has to take care of other plants. After blooming into the Luminescent Flower, Taiga gives it back to Sunflowmon. Sunflowmon wanted to cross it with other flowers to create new breeds so it decided to go back to the Village of Beginnings. The next day, it sends Taiga a mail with a Lilac Seed item.
