Appearances[edit]
Anime[edit]
Digimon Xros Wars & The Evil Death General and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]
Dark Knightmon is the foremost member of Twilight. He controls Nene with the promise that he can send Nene and Yuu back to the human world. He also controlled Kiriha using a dark orb. He's the younger brother of Bagramon, and he came up with both DigiXros and the D5 plan in order to defeat and overthrow his brother. He succeeded, only being killed by his brother for his betrayal.
Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]
Dark Knightmon appears as one of the disguises worn by Betsumon.
Digimon Adventure:[edit]
Dark Knightmon is the Perfect Level of Skull Knightmon, corrupted from Tailmon. She evolves into this form by taking in the power of the dark crystal given to her by Devimon, in order to face Metal Greymon and Were Garurumon, as well as stop Takaishi Takeru from taking back the Holy Digimon's Digitama. While she has the advantage during most of the fight, she's ultimately overpowered once Were Garurumon obtains his Sagittarius Mode. She reappeared and takes the dark crystal which she's helped a heavily wounded Neo Devimon to evolve into his Ultimate Level, Done Devimon, by using the dark crystal's power.
Later on, after Devimon was defeated, when the Chosen Children arrived on Infinity along with defeating a Groundramon, they confront Dark Knightmon again, and Patamon evolved to Angemon to fight Dark Knightmon. After a brutal clash, Dark Knightmon ended up devolving back to Skull Knightmon.
After Skull Knightmon kidnaps Hikari, she evolves to Dark Knightmon once again, and uses Hikari as a ritual sacrifice to resurrect Millenniummon. She was ultimately defeated by Taichi and War Greymon, rescuing Hikari and Tailmon spirit, and reverting back into her true form, Tailmon.
In Adventure:, Dark Knightmon shows a very different moveset than elsewhere, focusing on beam attacks. She's able to shoot a continuous purple beam from her chest ornament, black energy bullets from the grill over it, lasers from Skull Knightmon's eyes, electricity from the middle of her horns, and black arrows after creating a bow similar to Skull Knightmon: Arrow Mode's[20].
Dark Knightmon's aura resurges as Tailmon is infected by the miasma during the fight against Marin Devimon[22].

Digimon Chronicle X[edit]
After being sealed away in the Dark Area due to its cruel nature, Dark Knightmon began to crave the position as one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, as well as Barbamon's treasure. Which led him to challenge the Demon Lord of Greed.
Upon discovering that the Old and New Digital World were about to connect, the two Digimon battle each other to decide who will be the first to break through the Dark Area's gates and reach the dormant treasures of the New Digital World.
During their battle during the breakout, both rivals go through X-Evolution after each obtains the X-Antibody, evolving into Dark Knightmon (X-Antibody) and Barbamon (X-Antibody). However, the fierce battle between the two only intensifies in the Old Digital World, as the surrounding Digimon helplessly watch the confrontation.
