Digimon Life[edit]
Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Blue & Red[edit]
Dynasmon is a former defender of the LS-tou Zone and the partner of Armamon, the strongest Weapon Digimon. The two once protected the Zone from invaders, but Armamon became consumed by its own power and forgot its mission. Dynasmon sealed its former partner within Lost Space, severely damaging its own Digicore in the process. Its remaining data is sustained by energy from a Condenser System, preventing it from leaving its location without disappearing.
Spadamon had entrusted its memories to Dynasmon, who sealed them to protect the youngest Weapon Digimon from invaders. It also restricted access to the Condenser Towers so that Spadamon could open them as it grew stronger alongside companions of its own choosing.
After Xros Heart returns the six towers to Normal Mode, Dynasmon summons the group to Stealth Valley. There it returns the last of Spadamon's memories before testing the group in battle, asking them to fight without holding back. After their victory, it recognizes Spadamon's growth and explains that the Weapon Digimon once chose warriors as partners and fought alongside them to defend the Zone.
When Shoutmon questions why Dynasmon did not fight the invaders itself, Taiki asks it to remain calm, recognizing Dynasmon's concern for Spadamon. Dynasmon explains Armamon's corruption, its decision to seal its partner, and the damage that left it dependent on the Condenser System. Shoutmon apologizes, and Dynasmon thanks the group for helping Spadamon become stronger. It asks them to stop Barbamon before Armamon can be revived and entrusts the future of the Zone to Spadamon and Xros Heart.
After Taiki and Shoutmon agree to help Spadamon protect the Zone, Dynasmon asks it to restore the additional Condenser System and remove the Protect Field surrounding Sky Fort. Spadamon complies, knowing that restoring normal operation will end the energy supply sustaining Dynasmon's remaining data.
Before disappearing, Dynasmon brings Beelzebumon to the Zone, explaining that it had been searching for Xros Heart in another Zone. This leads Taiki and Shoutmon to suspect that Dynasmon was also responsible for their own arrival in the LS-tou Zone to help Spadamon, although it does not explicitly confirm their deduction.
Dynasmon also offers to bring other companions to them. In Blue, Shoutmon asks about Kiriha, whom Barbamon expelled from the Zone; in Red, it asks about Nene instead. Dynasmon determines that the missing General is beyond the reach of its power. After examining the available data from the expulsion, it concludes that Kiriha in Blue, or Nene in Red, is probably safe, although it cannot identify the destination.
As the restored system resumes operation, Dynasmon announces that its time has come and entrusts the remaining task to the group. It disappears, and Spadamon thanks it before the party leaves Stealth Valley.
After Dynasmon disappears, the revived Armamon searches System Omega for its former partner. The system reports that Dynasmon's Digimon ID is lost and identifies Stealth Valley as its last confirmed location. Armamon then attempts to gather surrounding data to reconstruct it, despite Spadamon's insistence that such a reconstruction would not be the same Dynasmon. Following Armamon's final defeat, Spadamon later expresses its belief that Armamon has returned to the same place as Dynasmon.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
Dynasmon is one of the Royal Knights. Yggdrasill sends Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan to find them and get them to their rendezvous point in Central Town in the side mission "Royal Knights, Assemble!".
During the side mission "Duels Must Be Fair", Sagisaka Hiroko got a mysterious tip about a cosplayer that was actually a Digimon in Shinjuku. Going to investigate the tip alongside the Agent, they found Dynasmon, who kept challenging the people around him to duels, only for them to take it as a joke. The Agent was no exception for the Royal Knight's wish. After the Agent accepted the duel, Dynasmon explained to them that he was testing the chivalry of humans to see if they were worthy of Yggdrasill's orders and, therefore, refused to hold back.
Dynasmon is the first boss of the side mission "Duels Must Be Fair". Other than normal attacks, he can use Magic Reflect and Breath of Wyvern. He is weak to Plant.
After Dynasmon was defeated, he acknowledged the Agent's strength. Then, a Digital Gate opened and a Megadramon appeared from it. Dynasmon could feel its strength and asked the Agent to fight it alongside him, as he could not beat it alone and they couldn't let the bystanders get hurt. During the fight, Dynasmon can use Nanomachine Break III and Breath of Wyvern.
Defeating Megadramon convinces Dynasmon that the Agent is worthy of carrying out Yggdrasill's orders so he leaves for the rendezvous point. There, Dynasmon told the agent that Lord Knightmon had not arrived yet despite saying he would. He was doing an investigation in Akihabara, so Dynasmon asked the Agent to keep an eye out for him if he went there. This is the side mission "The Beautiful Knight Corps".
However, after Lord Knightmon's arrival, they soon started quarreling, with Dynasmon criticizing Lord Knightmon taking an army with him and falling behind in his swordsmasnship in comparison to said army, considering he needed the Agent's help to defeat them. Lord Knightmon argued he could've done it on his own and merely accepted the Agent's help, but regardless, to prove his swordsmanship, he asked the Agent to bring Grademon to him, though he had no idea where Grademon even was. Behind Lord Knightmon's back, Dynasmon told the Agent Grademon was competing in the High-Rise Colosseum and sent the Agent to defeat Grademon before he fought Lord Knightmon, as the side mission "A Display of Beautiful Swordplay". However, the Agent instead told Lord Knightmon, who quickly left for the Colosseum. After he did so, Dynasmon asked the Agent if he had been too harsh on Lord Knightmon. He had merely wanted to stop his ally's recklessness but made the situation worse instead, so he asked the Agent to pursue Lord Knightmon and make him keep a cool head.
All 13 Royal Knights showed up in an Outer Dungeon to save the Agent and Hiroko from Mugendramon in the side mission "An Odd Letter". Omegamon explained they had felt an enormous power and rushed to their aid, though they couldn't all fight in such a small space so they allowed the Agent to choose who'd help them.
All the Royal Knights showed up to fight Chronomon, destroying his Kotowari no Kyozetsu barrier with a barrage of their signature moves, then left. This was necessary, as said barrier could not be broken by anyone who lived under the rules of Iliad, but the Royal Knights were from another world and the situation was desperate enough to allow them to interfere with the natural order of Iliad.
Dynasmon is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Grademon, Hippogriffomon, or Mistymon.
