Digimon Adventure:[edit]
In "Jyagamon, Potato Hell", Potamon evolves into Jyagamon and goes into a rampage due to its sorrow at not being able to eat the fries of the haven for travelling Digimon anymore. It attacks the haven with its explosive potatoes, causing destruction and forcing the Digimon in it to run away. However, it still keeps some of its former personality, as it stops attacking once it sees Kido Joe's fries and goes to eat them instead, before letting out a huge burp, making Joe realize who it is, and want to save it.
Jyagamon then surrounds itself with a ring of exploding potatoes, increasing their attack and defense by spinning them around at high speed. However, as the Chosen Children realize that they can stop the exploding potatoes with Lunamon's Lop-ear Ripple bubbles, Joe forms a plan, blowing the bubbles off Komondomon with Zudomon's hammer. Afterwards, Angewomon gives Zudomon her power through a Holy Arrow to his hammer, letting Joe pour his feelings into it, then smash Jyagamon with them. This is effective and returns Jyagamon to its original personality.
Jyagamon, alongside Burgamon and a Torikara Ballmon, reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination" from outside their restaurant.
After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Burgamon brought fries to Jyagamon in its restaurant, which Jyagamon ate then burped at it. Meanwhile, a Lunamon, a Kunemon and a Pusurimon ate on one table; and a Kamemon and a Floramon ate on another.
