An Armor-level Demon Man Digimon that evolved through the power of the "Digimental of Purity". It exhibits power like a fierce god, and although its offensive power is tremendous, it has a side that protects the weak with its strong sense of devotion, righteousness, and respect. Also, it excels in the secret arts, and is capable of mastering any supernatural power. It is very taciturn and has a calm, cool, and collected personality. Its Special Moves are a shock wave fired by crossing its two bokutō (Ittouryoudan), and manipulating the opponent like a puppet with a bewitching look (Kugutsu no Jutsu).

Digimon Frontier: Revival of the Ancient Digimon!![edit]

Many Yaksamons are members of the Human Digimon community on the Wandering Island. A substantial number of these Yaksamons serve in the Human Digimon army in the war against the Beast Digimon, in which many of them are killed in combat and reverted into Digitamas.

One Yaksamon participates in Dinohumon's revenge raid on the Beast Digimon village shortly after the Chosen Children arrive on the Wandering Island and singlehandedly kills two Beast Digimon, but is killed by a cannonball blast from the tank Yūbō along with the rest of the raid party, other than Dinohumon himself.

Another Yaksamon is part of Dinohumon's party when he comes to the ruins to take Kotemon back. This Yaksamon threatens Bearmon and, when Gryzmon's party of Beast Digimon arrives, fights a Bullmon. It survives the encounter and departs with Dinohumon and Kotemon.

During the final battle between the armies in the ruins' exterior corridors, a Yaksamon performs a sustained spinning attack that kills multiple Beast Digimon at once.

Digimon Savers[edit]

A Yaksamon is part of the forces who defend the Holy Capital from Kurata Akihiro's forces. In "The Fierce Attack of Kurata's Army Corps, Protect the Holy Capital", it attempts to attack Ivan/Bio Spinomon from behind while he is occupied fighting Fujieda Yoshino and Rosemon, but Ivan easily swats it down and, while it is heavily wounded and begging for mercy, kills it by plunging a blade through its chest, horrifying Yoshino and Rosemon.

Digimon Xros Wars[edit]

Several Yaksamons are residents of Sword Zone. In "Taiki and Kiriha VS the Bagra Army, A Complete Showdown!", they come under attack from the Bagra Army's invasion of Sword Zone. The surviving Yaksamons witness the defeat of their commander Grademon by Xros Heart, and the taking of the last Code Crown by Kudou Taiki.

Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]

Yaksamon is the partner Digimon of Tobari Ren. Dracumon first demonstrates its ability to Super Evolve into Yaksamon in "The Digimon Kendo Match! Kotemon's Blade Draws Near!!", in which Ren claims that Dracumon needs to drain strong human desires to gain the power that it needs to become Yaksamon.
