Core Tower (コアタワー Koa Tawā) is a location in the Kernel Zone.
Description[edit]
Core Tower is the longest Hole in the storyline of Digimon World 2 at 24 floors. Every Digimon that appeared in a previous Hole also appears in this one, increasing in level and difficulty as Akira continues rising through the floors. The Guardian of Akira's Guard Team awaits him at the highest floor.

Digimon World 2[edit]
After leaving Shuttle Point, Akira entered Core Tower. In the 24th floor, Akira met with the Guardian of his respective Guard Team (Silver Guardian, Blue Guardian, or Black Guardian). The Guardian told Akira he had the right to know the truth as he had the power to destroy Overlord GAIA, a computer that went out of control, stopped humans from returning to the Real World and made Digimon wild. However, as the control program from the outside world was still in effect, Overlord GAIA could still be stopped. The Guardian then begged Akira to destroy GAIA in Chaos Tower or else Digimon would keep going wild and the world would be destroyed. It then added that the backup would save the world after GAIA was destroyed and then the humans would be free from the matrix and could go back to the Real World, where they were originally from. The Guardian then left, leaving Akira extremely confused.
